Easy to use
All you have to do is twist the handle to select the weight , great balance , no slip grip, they are not too bulky or big so they won’t take up a lot of room

Pretty good if space is a concern
I have a home gym with a rack of iron hex dumbbells. I don't have any of the fancy B*Flex dumbbells for comparison, but I do have a consistent workout routine and use a variety of DB movements in my programming. These are okay but for most movements I’ll stick with my iron.BLUF: Good space saving option. Most movements feel about the same. Some minor annoyances around ‘play’ in the system and balance.PROS:The weight selection is easy to use. When resting in the cradle, just twist the handle. Lift off and the selected plates stay attached to the handle. They are reasonably accurate in weight, though the 5lb base handle weighed in at about 4.5lbs each. I’ve experienced no sticking or failure to select weights when unracking. I tried my best to shake some weights free but couldn’t get it to fail on me, so I trust it for pressing movements overhead. They don’t feel too weird when holding by one end vertically, like for goblet squats.NEUTRALS:Everything is plastic except the plates. You have to be fairly precise when re-racking them so the plates slot back together correctly. The dumbbells have a convex end so you can’t stand them vertically. The handle has no knurling molded in, so it can become slick with sweat.CONS:The handle does have a mold parting seam. It is only really noticeable when you switch from a pulling movement to a pressing movement with the same weight because… the DBs are unbalanced along the main axis. Going from a curl to a shoulder press, the DB wants to rotate in your hand so that the orientation remains the same as when they’re racked (top plate up). If you have a good grip you can overcome this, but then it will feel top-heavy in your hands. This is my biggest annoyance with these weights. The bases don’t have any rubbery feet so if you don’t have rubber flooring or a mat of some kind, they can slide around if you re-rack them with any lateral force. The plates have a little wiggle in them when moving around, which can distract me when repping out a set of hammer curls. They are mostly round, so you can't do renegade rows and they can roll a bit when set on the ground.

Nice set of dumbbells for the family
These dumbbells work very well for my family. I needed something light weight to exercise with and continue adding weight as I get stronger. The weight is easy to change as I need, or when my boys come over they want to use them with more weight than I use. I like that I can keep this set contained and is versatile so different people can adjust as needed.

Weights Fall Off and Eventually stop working
They worked great for the first month but then the weights would start falling off mid-workout. Won’t accept returns after 30 days so be cautious if considering this product.

Love them!
Super easy to use and set up! Very compact which makes it easy to store away and not be in anyone’s way. Holding them is comfortable and has good grip.

Simple to use
These dumbbells adjust with a twist of the wrist, any weight from 5 to 25 lbs, in 5 lb increments. The handles have bulge in the middle and taper down going to each end. I think they would be better without the bulge and taper. They tend to get slightly unbalanced with movement, wanting to tip toward one end or the other. All in all, these are fine. Just set them in their slotted tray and twist the handle to whatever poundage indicated and you're good to go. They seem fairly durable. The handles and end pieces are plastic, so I wouldn't drop them if you can help it. I do think they are a bit overpriced at time of this review, they are $3.20 per lb. I give them 2 stars.

Compact and easy to use dumbbells.
These dumbbells are perfect for the home gym owner that is limited on space and is looking for a cost effective way to have dumbbells. They adjust quickly and easily, but do require that the dumbbells are placed on the base to make the adjustments. When rotating the handle for adjustments, there is a distinctive click and you can easily read what setting the dumbbells are set on. The adjustments can be made quickly enough that dropsets, supersets, etc. can be performed without much delay. Once the handle is set on a particular weight, the weights are locked in securely and you don't have to worry about them falling out when using the dumbbell. The handles do not have any knurling on them, but are still comfortable to use and you shouldn't have to worry about the dumbbells slipping in your hands. The dumbbells feel durable, but not really certain how well they would hold-up to being dropped. The steel weights are wrapped in a nylon/plastic material and the rest of the dumbbell and base are also made from the same type of nylon/plastic. Due to the way these dumbbells are designed with the cutouts on the individual weights, I noticed that the dumbbells seem to want to rotate in your hands the heavier the dumbbells are when performing certain exercises (ie. in a curved plane like bicep curls). You don't really experience this when the exercise is performed in a straight plane (ie. pressing movements).Overall, a good alternative for people that need a good starter set of dumbbells.
