The Trumium 8mm Tungsten wedding band is a very handsome piece of jewelry. It arrives in a small ziploc bag which is inside a cellophane-wrapped simple flat black box.I have another tungsten ring that is 10mm diameter and has no center channel stones, and it is substantially heavier than the Trumium band. Titanium and tungsten carbide are two popular alternative metals for rings. While titanium is very lightweight yet durable, tungsten is very heavy and nearly scratchproof. Tungsten is a 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, while titanium is a 6. By comparison, diamond is a 10. The cubic zirconia are a 8-8.5 on the Moh's scale.I was impressed by the look of the ring. Entirely gold with center channel CZs, both the inner and outer surfaces are smooth and highly polished. There are beveled edges on both sides of the outer ring surface. The cubic zirconia are small but really do look like diamonds to the naked eye. The interior is etched Tungsten Carbide, though it is barely visible. The 8mm diameter is a very nice size on the hand.On the finger, the ring is comfortable, with no rough or sharp edges, except for a slight roughness if you run your finger over the CZs. It is beautifully made and given tungsten's toughness, should maintain its luster and appearance for years. You must be cautious, however, not to drop the ring onto a hard surface from any height, as tungsten is so hard and brittle, it may crack rather than scratch or dent, like titanium, gold, or silver. You should also be aware you cannot resize tungsten or titanium rings. Fortunately, they are considerably less expensive than gold and silver so you can easily replace them.The manufacturer offers a 90-day warranty. I really like the look of the Trumium tungsten ring and feel it would be equally appropriate for both men and women. It is surprisingly lightweight for tungsten and looks and feels really nice on the hand. It is well-priced for the quality appearance and workmanship and I award it 5 stars.
