The DMoose Fitness Pull Up Bar works just great! We're very pleased with it. It was easy to assemble.

It is well designed and built. Very sturdy. Inspires confidence for 230 lb guy.

I like this design because I wanted to be able to do pull-ups without having to bend my knees. I raised the height by adding two 1x1x26 inch pieces of wood at the back that I already had on hand. I also added a 1.5x2.5-inch piece of wood to the door jamb (as seen in the photos) to increase the height even further. So far, it has been sturdy with no issues. The door frame itself measures 81 inches from the floor to the top. With the adjustments I made, I now have a maximum clearance height of 85.5 inches. My only concern is the built-in ring for resistance bands. I wish it wasn’t there, as my daughter uses the lower level and I worry she might hit her head on it. I may end up cutting it off for safety.

I am very happy with the DMoose doorway pull up bar. It is sturdy, easy to move, and meets all of the product claims. Assembly was easy - once I broke down and used the video. I reserved one of the five stars because my doorways have wood moulding that I did not want to crush or scratch. The pull up bar has nice rubber rests that, flat on one side for secure seating on the wall, that aren't thick enough to clear the wood trim. I wound up finding firm foam garden knee pads to fill the gap.

It perfectly fits door with 6 inches frame. ( as many other products require frame to be less than 3.5 ) Had to issues with assembly and entire product looks solid. It easily holds my weight 200lb.

Doesn't work. I hook it in my door and it just slides down. Bummer. Might work if the backing piece would grab the trim piece on the door but it's at angle where it just slides over. Looks well built but doesn't work at all for me. Hopefully I can return.

I've used some other hang up pull up bars - this one beats them. Some others have left stains on my door frames from the rubber grips rubbing against it, while this one hasn't left my walls with any stain. It's nice to use while I'm working from home, doing a set of pull ups in between work breaks. It's very stable, holding my 165lb body without creaking nor shifting at all. My kids and cats sometimes like to playfully walk under me while doing these workouts, and i feel pretty safe the bar won't snap or release it's grip on the door frame. Very well made!

Sturdy and holds well in doorway. Great purchase my son loves it.

Would agree with other reviews on the good construction but the anchor hook section needs modding with a thicker and angled piece of wood to fit all doors and be completely secure. Good purchase for what I wanted to add to my home gym. Would give 5 stars if that one piece was included.
