I Can Grow a Flower (Life Cycle Board Books)

My son started a garden this year and now reads this book to my grandson to teach him all about the wonderful world of gardening. They love the content and pictures!

I bought this for a 2.5 year old I nanny for. He LOVES nature & watering plants. This book is simple with great pictures for beginners to understand how seeds grow. The chart at the end is a nice touch since he is in a growth spurt.

I wanted to like this book. I ordered it for my toddler for Easter since we have been actively working in our garden and he is at the age where lift the flap is so cool. While the pictures are really cool, only two pages have any life the flaps in the entire book. So that was a little disappointing.

Very beautifuly illustrated with pictures , lift a flap is so fun! Easy to read for a 7 year old.

My 30 month old loves interactive books (this one has flaps to open). I was looking for a book to introduce gardening because we’ve recently bought plants for our home. This is a PERFECT introduction to the process of growing a plant and the sunflower life cycle in the end is a great bonus if we want to plant a sunflower! Also the pages are sturdy and a great size for my toddler.

Our three year old boy really likes this book. He likes pointing to all the different flowers and opening up the big sunflower at the end too. The book teaches in a simple way about how a seed turns into a plant with soil and sunlight and water. Great book to read with child or toddler before planting a flower or starting a garden!

My great-granddaughter loved this this little book. As you can see she has been busy outdoors planting seeds.

Love the colorful artwork and great gardening projects for my grandson.
