Pro-JectT1 Phono SB Turntable with Built-in Preamp and Electronic Speed Change (Satin White)

I picked this one per my friend’s ,who is a recording collector and musician, recommendation. Only downside is the tone arm doesn’t go back when the record is over. But that I can live with for the sound and aesthetic of this record player. I chose this bec it is Made in the Czech Republic, solid system that doesn’t break the bank. I’ve had my player for a month now and with regular use. I don’t anticipate any issues with it. Have a glass turntable ensures stability of the player. It’s plug and play too. No hard set up or balancing of the tone arm needed

Llegó golpeado y la tata rota

Las fotos hablan por si solo. Caja principal perforada que traspasó la espuma protectora y rompió el capelo. Contrapeso del brazo viene suelto rayando todo el tocadiscos. Pésima envoltura.

Pros:- It looks great, very elegant, stylish, and modern. The 'Piano Black' version is shiny, it catches your attention. It is definitely great to look at.- A very good phono stage.- Good cartridge, balanced sound. You may want to upgrade iit down the line, though.- A button to switch speed. You don't have to manually move the belt to switch from 33 to 45.- Really good sound.- You should not need to set up the tone arm, it comes balanced out of the box.Cons:- It is very light and it can move easily when you remove a record.- The felt mat is so thin, paper-like. You would need to upgrade it. At this price point, they could have done better.- Be careful lifting and lowering the dust cover, it could cause the record player to move, and youe record to skip, which can cause damage. I guess this is because the item is so light.- No anti skating. The tonearm could harshly skip at the beginning of the record in a way that I believe, could potentially damage records.My personal verdict: I ended up returning my unit even though the looks and sound are there. I think at this price point there are options that check more boxes.

Aclaro que no pude probar la calidad del equipo en cuanto a la reproducción porque vino el plato de vidrio partido, lo que solo pude apreciar fue los materiales de la mesa y su acabado es barato. Lo devolví porque el plato estaba partido por lo que comenté, igual lo hubiese devuelto por el acabado.
