A well built and good value for money US to UK / Europe to UK adaptor plug. My one came double bagged and the outside of the bag had a "CE" on it - which is usually a good sign. I tested it in UK sockets and it seems robust (had 100 goes at plugging it in/removing it and it still works fine). European round plugs are easier to push into the front than US flat pin plugs - the latter need more effort. Need a bit more effort to remove them, especially the European ones. But this is often the case with adaptor plugs I find! I have a limited number of US or European appliances to test it on. All seems OK though I did not try a 3 pin US or European plug - only 2 pins. The Earth connection seems fine. The flange on the front of the plug makes it easy to pull the plug out - good design. Be warned though that if you try this adaptor plug on an extension board, depending upon the height of any adjacent plugs that you put in, it may or may not fit - see last image. The problem with some expension boards is that the sockets are closer together than finds on plug sockets on walls. One other thing, as with all adaptor plugs - make sure your US appliance can handle 240V here in the UK. Many transformers are multi voltage i.e. 110v and 240v, but not all. This is mentioned in writing on the front of the adaptor. I would have given this 5/5 as its a pretty good adaptor, but with the minor issue of width problems on extension boards wrt adjacent plugs and the minor issues of US plugs needing a bit more push to get them interfaced, than round European plugs, I'm giving it 4/5 though if I was allowed to more choice I would have really given it 4.5/5. Hope the photos included in this reveiew are of some use?

Travel adapter plugs. Nothing more, nothing less. Work as expected.

I got this because I have some collectible electronics from America that I didn’t want to change the plugs on (they’d lose their value).It was a bit hard to put the plug and adaptor together (it’ll probably get easier the more it’s used), they do separate easily though.I’m just going to store them together, so I won’t need to take them apart again.It is of solid construction, and it worked well without blowing up my things (which I’m happy about because I wasn’t sure I got the right wattage).Overall I’m really happy with it.

The plug appears to have all the necessary safety feature including insulated live and neutral prongs to prevent accidental shock when removing the plug and wrapping your fingers around the back.

It is very stiff trying to get the USA plug into it but it is possible. Would be nicer if it was a smoother fit.

been using this for a few devices I had imported from America. So far the adapter has worked perfectly with no issues. The adapter also seems to work with my devices with EU plugs also! Which is a nice surpriseI very much recommend this product if you're planning a bit of traveling or have some devices that need an adapter. If that's the case, then you can't go wrong with this item!
