Easy to see without lamp but in lower light lamp is highly effective. However, the lamp's neck is too short causing a glare and only illuminates 2/3 of the keyboard.The size and clarity of the letters are good (you get two sets) but the stickers a a bit too small so contrasting yellow on black effect is very compromised. For example, on the left side of the 'M' the eye has to decipher seven vertical lines: the yellow edge of the letter, the tiny black sliver of the sticker, the side edge of the sticker, the remaining visible edge of the grey key, the side of the key, the black void of the key edge and then the gray of the keyboard itself. Avoidance of all this visual confusion could be avoided by a slightly larger sticker so a uniform amount of black is surrounding the letters.On the horizontal number keys the shift function is to the upper right of the number instead of traditional upper left. Why? Shouldn't have to decipher... Especially distracting on the nine and zero. Looks more like this: 9( 0)The '@' to the upper right of the '2,' is not as visual as the "#', '$' etc..These stickers have identity problems:<, >. ?/ :; "' sizing and placement.The speaker and function keys may be mismatched for your keyboard.Looked everywhere and tried different solutions to a grey, back-lit HP Envy keyboard. The tiny back-lit letters shine thru the yellow letters of these stickers but the original problem with light leakage around each key renders this as useless as the tiny lit letters of the keys to start with.Too bad my new, awesome, slick, does everything I need, 360° touchscreen, adaptable laptop doesn't have black keys with lit letters a person with normal vision can see.Stickers aren't a great solution and don't look great but...THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT so I hope they improve it.

I used these on my Mac Magic Keyboard, see photo below. Apple often uses sophisticated monochromatic designs which look good. But as I age and my vision is getting weaker, and the lack of strong contrast makes the letters hard to see. The keyboard is not as attractive with these on it:) but hopefully I will see things more easily. I was surprised how different it feels to use it with these on -- I think it will take a little time to get used to but expect it to be very helpful. Otherwise am very pleased with them. They apply easily and do give good contrast.

The stickers have a good texture to them, and certainly helps you see the keys if you have old tired eyes like mine. They make your keyboard look a bit silly but that's just nature of the product. The stickers stick, and do not peel up easily. So, mostly good! The things I did not like about these:1. There wasn't a 1:1 match for all my keys. I got 97% of them, so not a big deal but some took some odd matching combinations. If you look near the center (of my pic) near the home key, you'll see some are words, and others are pictures. You get several duplicates and variations of various keys, but then some you almost need more of.2. These are NOT glow in the dark. They are the exact color of what you would expect if buying something glow in the dark. Don't let it trick you!3. The F and J stickers, cover up the sensitivity bumps that are typically present on those letters. You could potentially cut them up, or make little slits but I didn't want to go to the trouble. This makes it a bit tough to type if you're used to having those as a reference point.4. The stickers can be difficult to get off the paper when applying them. Once off, you're dealing with a tiny little square that can easily be dropped, or slide around on the keyboard. I had several that went on crooked and I had to peel them up and try again. This left little "peel up" marks on a few of the stickers.The whole process of applying them did take 1-2 hours, so I suggest putting on a movie before going to work at it. Overall, while I give it 3 stars, I'm just saying it's average. For what you expect, and what you get, it's in line, and I would recommend the purchase if it's what you're looking for. The biggest thing for me was the lack of glow in the dark, as I often use this keyboard in low lighting.

My letters had mostly worn off on some of my keys, but I love my keyboard so I wanted to get new ones. When I saw these, and that they glow in the dark, I thought they'd be fun.They are awesome! The letters are big (since I don't have the best vision, it's really helpful!)EDIT: I cleaned off the surface of my keys with alcohol before applying to help with adherence. There are no directions of any sort included, but this seemed like a way to help them stick better.PROs:BIG letters.glow in the dark letters! and they are not raised. the letters look like they can't wear off due to how they are made.they are also a bit thick, not flimsy at all. (but not too thick. they are Just Right)They seem like they will last way longer than my actual keyboard will.the stickers have rounded edges, not sharp.I have a big ergonomic keyboard, but basically I had a sticker for every key, with several to spare.The package also comes with this little usb led light. I have a desktop so it's not really useful to me, but for a laptop it might be.It also comes with tweezers to help put the stickers on.CONs:On the J, F and 5, I can't feel the tiny little bumps anymore. I didn't realize how much I used them to orient my fingers without actually looking at the keyboard. I am going to put a tiny drop of glue or something on those keys so that I can find them without looking.The stickers are really smooth. This is not really a con. But it is taking some getting used to. It feels very different than without them.I got a couple of the stickers on a bit crooked. Once they are on, they are very difficult to reposition. They really don't seem meant for that. So take your time to get them right. It's not a big deal to have them a bit crooked, but I figured I'd share it so that you know to be careful.Overall I love these. They are basically perfect, or will be after I mark the F, J and 5.I highly recommend them. I just ordered another set for my husband who was very jealous when he saw them on my keyboard. :)

These are awesome!! They are plastic and install easily! On a couple I got them a little crooked, all I had to do was use a thin razor blade to lift up a corner and grab with the included tweezers and reposition. They didn’t stretch or lose shape or adhesion when I had to reposition. They have a nice texture and mat finish. It’s hard to tell my keyboard has stickers on it! Amazing! Feels nice typing, can’t feel them at all. All the edges are well adhered to each key. I have mixed feelings about these stickers. They do NOT glow in the dark. I have a UV flashlight that couldn't even charge them. I think whatever made them luminescent wore off. The glow in the dark feature is the main reason I bought them because my keyboard doesn't have a backlight and it is hard to see in low light conditions. however the large print and high contrast on the stickers still made them useful. I did not return them as these are the second set of glow in the dark keyboard stickers I bought and the first set, while it did glow, did not stay charged longer then five minutes, hence the UV flashlight ( I already owned it, but then kept it next to my keyboard to refresh). So I give up, I am not meant to type in the dark.

MUST BUY for ANYONE with vision issues, or even a keyboard that is not back-lit.I would not be typing this review without these Stickers!I am 5 days away from Eye Surgery, without these Stickers my keyboard is a white rectangle blur. I cannot see the keys at all. My left eye went from 20/20 to legally blind in a week, the other eye is barely correctable with glasses. I ordered this the moment I returned from the Ophthalmologist. I do not know what I would do without them!!!I included photos of how I used them. I bought a silicone keyboard cover to fit my specific laptop in clear then I (with help) stuck the Stickers to the keyboard overlay. The texture and function of this combination is actually better than the feel of the keyboard without the overlay. It 100% feels like a desktop keyboard without a glitch. The stickers and the overlay stay in place. The stickers are hard thin plastic with the feel of a desktop keyboard.If my surgery is 100% successful I will likely to continue to use this on my laptop.Thank you to Amazon and sellers for getting these items to me in 2 days over Thanksgiving, and for making them easy to locate on the Amazon website.-- The WifeUpdate 12/15/19 - successful surgery, the keyboard stickers are still THE BEST! I can now see without glasses, blind to 20/25 1 week post op (my Doctor is amazing). My laptop keyboard is not back-lit, dim lights are easy on the eyes right now, and these stickers are better and brighter than any backlit keyboard I've ever owned.

These stickers are GREAT I can see my keyboard well in extremely low light. (The light of the screen is enough !)It also comes with a really nice plug-in USB light to light your keyboard if you need it, & Also the tweezers theygive you to help apply the (plastic) stickers are high quality. I ordered two more sets when I got the first one.Great gift for almost anyone with a P.C. ! (Especially if their vision is getting bad) They are Luminescent (highlyreflective) So they are visible even in VERY low light, unfortunately they are NOT glow-in-the-dark. (almost as good)They are made of plastic, NOT just printed paper. They look like they will last a LONG time. They even offer athree year warranty (with proof of purchase) !

Easy to remove stickers from backing sheet using the tweezers (included) and the USB LED light (included) which makes it easy to position them. Big, bold easy-to-read, my keyboard looks better than new. Seller also included a credit card-sized magnifying glass that fits in my wallet. This kit saved me the cost of a new keyboard. OMG! After putting the first letter on my keyboard I was hooked! I can now see my keyboard day or night and it also comes with this funky USB light which works great for night but I can still see the keyboard without it and definitely do not need it during the day. Easy to stick on and I highly recommend it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Showed my Dad and had to order him a set lol

I'm so happy with these stickers. It made using my laptop so easy. The original letters were ridiculously small and almost invisible. Not i can see with clarity and ease. The USB lamp included is also a helpful tool.
