This intimidated me when I first opened the box, but once I used it I was sold!! This is an amazing tool.

Super easy to use and perfect for cutting several layers of fabric

Cannot give it 5 stars however because the main drive gear is plastic and not metal. We use this machine hard every day and sometimes they get too hot and the plastic gear breaks.

Best product ever made for this purpose. Made an enormous job easy to perfect.

The blade is positioned in such a way you can not see where you are cutting, unless you are standing with the unit directly below you.

Only worked for about an hour and quit.

This portable electric fabric cutter is supposed to power through several layers of fabric making clean cuts. I quilt and thought this cutter would be useful for cutting quilt projects. Sadly, I won’t be using this for quilting as it does not cut with enough precision for that particular use. However, it does a good job of cutting several different types of fabric, and I believe it will cut through almost anything. After trying this cutter on several items including terry cloth and carpeting, I found it only failed at cutting through one layer of carpet square with the rubber backing. This cutter performed well on all other types of fabric. So, I’ll definitely be getting use out of it, especially during our restorations projects. This is a compact machine that came with an extra cutter wheel/blade and an ample 9' cord. It is easy to use and glides right through fabric by running the flat plate against a stable surface such as a table or a floor. This cutter is solidly built, quiet, and seems very durable. I especially like the built-in blade sharpener. The on/off switch is conveniently located, easy to reach. Maybe too easy. I unexpected started the cutter by accidentally bumping the switch. (That’s good for a heart attack!) One frustration: The instructions are challenging. A diagram notes all of the parts by letter but there is no description identifying the letters. So… less than useful. Overall, this cutter is a handy addition to my tool box. (Just not to my quilting supplies.) As the parent of kiddos with autism, there are causes near and dear to my heart. Its great to cut fabric in a straight line. Its very helpful

I bought this cutter last year but have only used it a handful of times, unfortunately the switch was faulty. Even though it was past my window to return the business reached out and sent me a new cutter free of charge. They were very helpful and I appreciate the great customer service. Thank you again!

Absolutely love it! Works super good for light industrial work. I may buy another.
