This SPA ELEVATE brand of spa and hot tub defoamer works as well as any I've ever bought. That is to say, you squirt a little into the spa water and the foam goes away. There's not a lot more that you can say. The product page says it contains no oils, but I doubt any defoamer contains oils. I don't get a lot of foam, or foam very often because I'm the only person using my spa, and I don't use a lot of lotions or similar products. So far I'm very pleased with the product. 5 stars.

This hot tub or spa defoamer works great. It quickly removes foam from my hot tub, leaving the water clear and sparkling. Highly recommend.

This is a review for Spa & Hot Tub defoamer from Spa Elevate. It comes in a nice 16 ounce bottle.I have an inflatable Saluspa circular spa. We do have to deal with foam at times and everyone who has a foamy tub knows that making those Santa beards in your tub is fun for a minute, but can be really annoying when the tub gets over foamy. I have been looking for a product that can reduce the foam and this one from Spa Elevate does a good job of significantly reducing that foam.The product comes out very gloppy. It is thick and one good thing is that you will not waste much product should you knock it over. A little goes pretty far. You will need to use the product while your hot tub is running. I only needed a capful or two to bring a lot of that foam down. The product did zero harm to my tub. I just wish it would last a bit longer as some of the foam piles up again faster than I would have expected. I really like that it is made in the USA and do think that this product is a good temporary fix for all that piled up foam in your hot tub or spa.

Order for a 350 gallon hot tub on a dichlor system, all chemistry is kept in great balance with regular filter cleaning, washable scum sponges changed weekly, and on schedule water changes. Even with all maintenance boxes checked we sometimes get a little foamy (typically after the teenager has friends in the people pot) and have routinely used another defoamer popular on amazon. Decided to give this one a shot due to product label stating less is needed per application.what i likeless product needed per applicationno weird smellssimple to useis available in a larger size which is more cost effectiveit workswhat i didn't likeleaves a film on the water for about 30 min after usedid not work quite as fast as previously used product.Overall impression is good, and we'll probably save this as a back up option but end of day this did not convince us to change from our other product
