Med softness, lots of fun
I was so excited to receive this yarn, and I have not been disappointed. I would not say that it is a true chenille yarn, because it’s really more of a medium softness, where the strands of acrylic have been slightly matted. It’s a different look than chenille, which is fine, and I recognized that from the pictures and so I’m not disappointed, but it is worth being aware of before purchasing. It is big and thick and it is easier to work with in typical chenille yard because it is not fully fluffy, it kind of holds to its own little bit more. Nevertheless, it is not going to make a magic ring by itself - definitely use a different yarn to make a magic ring when working with this yarn. It’s not the weakest chenille yarn I’ve ever used, but it’s not terribly strong. I can break it just with my hands.Overall, I am very happy and I definitely recommend this set for a lot of super chunky yarn! I got the sage and cream and I’m so happy with the colors.

Makes the best blanket!
I made an awesome blanket with these skeins! This was enough for a blanket to have on the couch. It is so warm and incredibly soft. The yarn works up nicely and this made it through the wash (gentle) perfectly! I might get more to make another one for the second couch we have.

Impressed with this yarn!
I used this to hand knit a chunky blanket and it’s 61”x44”. This was only my second time making one of these so it’s not perfect but overall I love it! I did 30 rows. It’s super soft and cozy, I haven’t tried washing it yet but I think I’m going to avoid machine washing. They came shrink wrapped and I was a little worried but once I started working with and knitting the yarn it fluffed up beautifully. It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes from start to finish, not including the YouTube video I watched to teach myself. This is comparable to the yarn I bought from a fabric store to knit my first blanket. This is a GREAT price for $45 for 8 good sized skeins, way cheaper than what I paid to knit a smaller blanket.

I love this!!!
I have been crocheting since I have been in the 6th grade and I have a penchant for quality yarn. This yarn is extra soft to the touch and just right for making blankets for the winter. This was enough for what I needed but you may want to get another pack to make a jumbo blanket if that's your goal.

Such a soft chenille yarn
Never used a bulky chenille before. Thought this would be enough to make a hat or cowl when I looked at seller's yardage chart. Wow!!! Was I wrong. This package was deceptive as I thought "what did I order?". I opened the box and saw a vacuum sealed bag of yarn which quadrupled in size when I cut it open.I quickly realized I'd get more than a hat out of this. I got out my largest hook, Q, and started just doing a simple single crochet. In about 1 1/2 - 2 hours I've worked up a 28-inch square, 1 1/2" thick with 4 of the skeins. Tomorrow I'll use the last 4 to crochet around this square and see just how big this fluffy chenille afghan will be.I'll edit and add a photo when done. I'm really pleased with this yarn, and I can see making baby blankets with this yarn. Paperwork says to dry clean but it's a polyester yarn, so I'll probably gamble on washing it on gentle or spot cleaning. The pricing is reasonable, based on my 50+ years buying various yarns.

VERY NICE QUALITY
DISCLAIMER: I AM A PREFESSIONAL ARTIST AND ANYTIME I SEE THIS YARN I HAVE TO HAVE IT LOL! CREATIVE PEOPLE LIKE ME LOVE THIS STUF. IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW.IT IS A VERY THICK AND PLUSH BLANKET YARN. COLORS ARE SPOT ON. GREAT FOR ARM/HAND KNITTING. I LOVE THE YARN AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. I WILL CONTINUE TO ORDER AND USE THIS YARN AS IT IS ONE OF MY MOST REQUESTED PIECES FROM CUSTOMERS.GOOD PRICE POINT. THEY ARE ROUGHLY $5.75 PER SKIEN SO THATS NOT BAD. THIS YARN IS GREAT FOR WORKING OFF THE HOOK AS IT WILL GO FARTHER AND CREATE A LARGER PIECE THAN USING THE TRADITIONAL HOOK CROCHET METHOD W/ SIGNLE CROCHET STITCHES. I WILL SHARE PICS ONCE PROJECT IS COMPLETE.UPDATE:PROJECT COMPLETE - THIS IS A PIC OF THE BLANKET THAT I MADE FOR MY MOM'S KING SIZE BED. I USED ALL 4 OF THESE GREY SKIENS PLUS 8 SKIENS OF RED AND 5 OR 6 SKIENS OF THE CREAM/OFF WHITE/IVORYISH COLOR. THIS WAS CREATED USING THE HAND KNITTING METHOD. IT WAS QUICK AND EASY TO WORK UP.

Super big and lovely colors
I didn't read the specs carefully enough - this yarn is HUGE and chunky is a perfect description. I see now that the product page even recommends it for arm knitting so it's definitely a big yarn! I love it! It's soft and the colors are super cozy (I'm sad to see they don't seem to be offering the sage anymore - it's such a lovely green!)One of my skeins didn't come with a ribbon which I'm not removing any stars for but I was a bit sad since the others were all so cutely wrapped.
