The tension in the elastic seams seems satisfactory for my needs, so I start using them immediately. There’s no odor; however, the paddles feel uncomfortable because they are flat rather than curved like the majority of swimming paddles we typically use.

Said these were suitable for kids but the paddles were gigantic for my ten year old’s (and even my!) hands!
