I love the case. It is soft and grippy. Reasonably durable for silicone (yes silicone will wear out faster than regular plastic, and will not protect as well in case of a fall and that's ok with me).I bought it twice now. First, a few months ago. My pets did a number on it though, it is still functional, but i wanted a replacement.It arrived today. Right out of the box I could tell it is not silicone. There maybe a little silicone in it but it is mostly plastic. Not grippy, nor flexible.Yes plastic will protect the phone better, but if i want that, I'd go with a different design, and the cost for a plastic case would be $5. There is a reason why silicone is more expensive.Asked Amazon for exchange. Let's see what happens.UPDATE: received 3rd case. It is just the same as second - TSU plastic. If I wanted to buy a plastic case like this, the cost would be $6 top.
