I have super thick long hair and a stinky oily scalp that I can wash six times and it still stinks. I usually use herbal essence and wash 4 times bc it has the strongest perfume to try to cover the stink. The only way I could remove the stink before was soak my scalp in TIDE once a month. I bought this shampoo bc I remember how good a clarifying shampoo had worked before when I was younger. It would be a lot less stink in the winter months. In summer, forget it, only tide. So anyway, I washed with this 3 times. TWO TIMES ONLY and I could actually feel my hair was TIDE level clean. This is mind blowing to me. I washed again and I swear my scalp feels like normal human skin now without the sticky oil feeling it always has. Better than TIDE clean. After my shower and I was putting my hair up, I noticed that behind my ears and around my hairline also felt so clean and healthy too. You dont even know...to get behind my ears clean i scrub several times with a facecloth and irish springs soap back there. The skin around my hairline never feels completely clean, never. This shampoo got behind my ears clean without me trying. I hope that someone with a stinky scalp like me is able to liberate themselves from tide soaks or just living with the best your shampoo could do like I did. PS, although 3 times got my hair the cleanest its ever been, I will only be doing it twice from now on bc it burns after, the same kinda painless one day burn you get after going blond. I did wash with herbal essence right after too bc this stuff smells like chemicals in a bad way. Anyway I am super super impressed with this shampoo. Also, it activated my curls big time. I paid a little more than im used to but will def be buying it on a normal basis now.

I would give this product more than 5 stars if I could. I’ve been using this product for a little while before writing this review to see if I really liked the product after the first few washes. My hair is extremely oily to the point where I have to wash my hair every day, pretty thin, and naturally blonde. During the summer, my hair absorbs oil throughout the day and I feel like I have to wash it a second time if I’m going out in the evening. My hair gets darker when there’s any little bit of oil in it; even if it’s not noticeable to anyone else, I can tell. This helps to pull out the oiliness and refresh my scalp without drying my hair out. My hair is still the same color blonde throughout the day and even after I wake up in the morning. My hair is so soft still and I’ll be purchasing the larger bottle once I run out of this.

Love this shampoo! It removed any residue. I did shampoo twice with it. I wasn't sure about the scent initially. But while shampooing, it did smell nice. And the scent stayed after I rinsed, but was not overpowering. My hair felt completely clean and soft after I dried it. Highly recommend this shampoo!

This is a terrific shampoo that cleans well but is gentle on my scalp. Mild, pleasant fragrance.

Great product to give my hair a reset. Strips the dirt and the residue buildup from my usual shampoo/conditioner so I dont have to switch my products up

If you have ANY doubts about spending this much money on hair products, don't! These are THE BEST products I've used, ever, and my mom is a hair stylist. I've used tons of crap from Sally's and Shoppers Drug Mart, but this stuff is worth every penny! Thinking of going with the smaller bottle of a Biolage product? Don't! Just pay for the bigger one and save some money overall, because this stuff WORKS! These are all the products I purchased: Full Rescue Thickening Conditioner Full Rescue Densifying Leave-In Spray Scalp Sync Clarifying Shampoo Purifying Scalp Concentrate HydraSource Daily Moisturizing Leave-In Treatment I use the clarifying scalp concentrate while running my bath or starting a shower. I'll put a face mask on too so I get as close to that 15 minje wait time as possible! I then use the clarifying shampoo and thickening conditioner as stated in the instructions. A little goes a long way with the shampoo, and the conditioner just feels so nice on my hair. It's almost like you feel it soften immediately! After getting out of the shower or bath, I use the HydraSource Daily Moisturizing Leave-In Treatment on my lengths of my hair, and the Densifying Leave-In Spray on my roots. THESE LEAVE-IN PRODUCTS DO NOT MAKE YOUR HAIR OILY OR GREASY!!! Holy moly, the liquid just evaporates as your hair dries and you're left with this AMAZING soft, bouncy smooth, shiny, healthy-looking hair! I 1000% recommend these products as a girlie who has medium-medium thick hair, has experienced hormonal hair loss, suffers with scalp acne, and is trying to repair her frizzy curls! I've only used the products TWICE, but I saw an immediate difference after ONE use!

Game changer!!! I've been dealing with some hair product buildup at my roots and no matter how much I washed my hair and air dried/blow dried properly it was feel so greasy. After the first use of this my hair felt like I came out of the salon! No more buildup or product or grease, smelt soooo fresh and felt super smooth. So happy with this purchase! Also a plus that it's abit cheaper than the viral Ouai detox shampoo 😃

UPDATED REVIEW: (4c hair) I received the 400 ml scalp sync clarifying shampoo which I was excited to try the same day BUT IT CAME WITHOUT A SEAL. Upon doing some research, I found out that the shampoo comes without a seal. I have used it twice now. I didn’t feel much of a difference on the first try HOWEVER on the second, I noticed a HUGE difference. My hair is CLEAN. and I mean CLEAN. MY SCALP HAS NEVER FELT THIS CLEAN AND FRESH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Even though the hair has that squeaky clean feel, it’s not dry; the hair actually feels hydrated. I followed with a hydrating shampoo and hair mask. I would 100% recommend for the 4c girlies.
