How do you take it apart to clean it?

Once you see how it is put together, you will see there is nothing to take it apart, clean it, and put it back together. My suggestion though....buy a completely different product. I am not happy with my Spiralizer at all. I used it once, it performed terribly. And so I have never used it again. It was a total waste of my money.

Can you spiral slice a potato to make crispy potato pancakes?

It spirals while it slices, so it is all connected in one (usually) strip. I think you are more in need with a grater of some kind, if you make potato pancakes like I have.

Is this dishwasher safe???

Hello, tks for trying our item, actually,It is really easy to clean after using and most times just requires a rinse under the running water, there is a cleaning brush included in the package and you can keep the brush by the sink to brush over the blades with that. And We recommend the following when cleaning/washing the spiralizer: - Wash the spiralizer under running tap water. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Use a brush to clean between the blade teeth if necessary. - Hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of the product. - If washed in a dishwasher, use the top rack only, as hot water can warp the suction pad and prevent it from working correctly.

How do I attach the turning handle? Maybe mine is defective.

It should slide down the track in the back of the spiralizer. It’s all one piece.
