I used this item with floatable multicolored (red and green) beads, candycanes and water in vases to make centerpieces during the Christmas holidays. They turned out beautifully. The beads are very tiny, about the size of a pinhead, but don't let the size fool you. In water they grow to about the size of a marble. Follow the instructions for measurement or you will expand far more beads than you need. The color of the beads are as clear as water and very easy to clean. Just place in water and rinse.
