Dr Who's favorite candy
Would you like a Jelly Baby? If you are a Dr Who fan, buy these! They are so yummy. This is our favorite kind. Colors are pretty and inviting, they have a nice chewiness to them. Worth the price to splurge on these...stock up during cool months.

A different kind of gummy
These are not like your ordinary American gummy bears, gummy worms, or even gummy fruit snacks. They are gummy, but a bit drier/flakier than that - like a closer to a dense and squishy foam than a gel. The flavors are surprisingly authentic, quite fruity and all of them distinct. They are sweet but not overly so; they have some mild chew to them. I usually have two are three at a time for a little snack.I don't think I'd order them again, because they aren't quite my thing and I prefer the Welch's style fruit snacks, but I'd recommend giving them a try if you haven't had them before, they're interesting and you get plenty in the bag to share around.

Great size for sharing!
Like everyone else in the U.S. who likes these, I was introduced to them through Tom Baker in Doctor Who. I saw the show as a kid (after he had left it) and a friend of mine bought these at some convention and shared exactly one because he only had the one bag. I don't think I had them again for many years.I don't eat a lot of sweets, but for some reason these fill a niche for me when I have a sweets munchie. I also was disappointed in them when I tried them so many years ago. So, I don't know if my tastes changed or I acquired the taste. They really aren't like most American sweets. For my personal sweet tooth, I tend to buy the smaller 6 bags of Bassets because the bags are about the right size for me to open up and slowly finish off without them just getting stale. So, it's just about the perfect size. When sharing them at work ("Want a jelly baby?"), I buy Gustaffs because they are cheaper and more of a bulk bag. Both are good, but they do seem to taste a bit different to me. Very similar, but a bit different (unless I'm just crazy, which is always possible). Both are good and fit the same "category" of taste for me. I suppose that's a personal thing how something tastes anyway. It really is a unique taste I don't get out if other American sweets and is my number one preferred sweet treat--at least at the moment. :)

Very different than same company I ordered from in past
The consistency, taste, shape, and colors are not the same as in the past. They're also not dusted with corn starch. Regardless, I still ate them out of my stocking before xmas, because I'm a glutton. Even ordered another bag to replace the one I took out of my stocking. Ate those, too. I guess the moral of this review is that unless you're a sugar fiend pig like me, you probably shouldn't order these.

The flavor of the Jelly Babies last long after the last bite!
My wife and I have tried different brands of Jelly Babies over the last year. Most of them were pretty good but this one is amazing! The flavor last for a long time after your last bite and you can certainly tell you just ate a blueberry or an orange one, as the flavors are dead on. We highly recommend this brand!
