One major thing to consider when purchasing ping pong paddles is your skill level. These paddles are clearly intended for beginner-intermediate ping pong players. However, a lot of standard "starter packs" include stiff, uncomfortable paddles that really only give you base functionality and can be really difficult to control early on. These paddles really go a step beyond - the soft face, medium-grip rubber, and flared handles allow players to move from basic "hitting the ball" to applying spin, controlling serves, and learning to move to that next-level. If you are an advanced player... you may want to find a paddle highly suited to your needs. For a starter kit, or a family set, these are excellent. Don't waste your time with cheap, stiff paddles. A few other things to note: Material Quality (4/5) - I was surprised by how well-made these paddles were. The wood around the handle can be a little rough (depending on how you hold it), but the rubber, padding, and design are really nice. The wood, while mid-tier quality, does give the paddle a pretty well-balanced weighting. Also, the balls shouldn't be overlooked in this set - 3-star ping pong balls are the only way to go. Don't even bother with cheap, light, flimsy ping pong balls. It's a really nice bonus to the set, although in my mind, it should a baseline criteria when choosing a set! Value (5/5) - For the price, this set is hard to beat. You can spend a lot on paddles and gain only marginal improvement (unless you are a pro!). For the overall quality, I would pay this price any day. Compared to an ultra-cheap set, your friends/family will appreciate paying a few extra bucks to add a load of quality. Design (5/5) - These paddles look good. The rubber, because of it's glossy finish, can get a bit marked up early on, but otherwise, these things look great. The handle design and blade wrapping are clean and sleek. TL;DR - Great paddles for the price, especially for new/early-stage players.

Excellent quality pips-in paddles! Very impressed. Great price for red and black faced paddles with eight balls. All four paddles and balls arrived in great shape. After opening the box, the paddles are laid out nicely in the center with balls on the side. The materials used for the paddles are high quality. The paddle faces are nice and flat with good rubber. The handles are made of wood and provide a good firm grip. They are lightweight and hit forehands and backhands great. They have worked well for all types of shots! I recommend these paddles. Would buy again. Added bonus: keep the box to store the paddles and balls in so when you transport them you don't damage them!

For a set of paddles, you really can’t beat the price. They are light, durable and give pretty good spin. I would like a little more grip on the face to get the ball spinning a bit more but oh well. I did also add grip tape to the handle because one slipped out of my hand during a heated match and flew precariously close to the head of my opponent. The balls in the set are acceptable, they are by no means amazing but they are great for recreational play. I would definitely buy this set again.

I LOVE my new Table Tennis Set! Here’s why: 1) it was delivered one day earlier than expected! 2) the packaging. The box is sturdy and easy to open. Also, it’s sturdy enough to store your set in between use. 3) it included a 40% off coupon! I love coupons!! 4) THE PRODUCT is EXCELLENT QUALITY! The handles feel great in your hand. The paddle is made of wood layered with a vinyl foam pad. Plus it just looks sharp! 5) the ping pong balls 4 white, 4 orange. I thought all ping pong balls were the same but no. These are light as a feather yet some how very sturdy. I can’t give an honest review of the seller because the product is so great I had no need to contact them. I guess that in turn speaks volumes!

These paddles arrived promptly via Prime. Was most impressed with the quality of the paddles and the amount of included 3 star balls which saved having to make an extra purchase to start playing with these right away. Packaging is durable which allows you to easily store all 4 paddles and balls to carry wherever you may go and best off, it included a coupon that can be used again. As for the paddles themselves, they are durable and well made and performed on par with my standalone paddle that I bought for the same price as this kit. Whether you're in the market for a set for your office, your home, community rec center, or wherever you plan to play, you won't regret purchasing this kit.

Nice paddles, nice ping pong spheres. Smoother style surface than paddles from when I was younger, but they have that rubbery grip without the little nubs. These are a hit with my husband and son, good quality, good gameplay.

Still using them and having fun. No issues.

The padding on the paddles began peeling off with 2 weeks of use. I would not recommend this product.
