Brother TN-2420 Toner Cartridge, Black, Single, High Yield,

Good quality.

This product is the genuine Brother cartridge. I’m guessing many people, like me, have experimented with alternative ‘compatible’ printer cartridges. They are a lot cheaper, but never as good as the authentic branded product. In particular, I’ve found the print scratches off the paper over time. I’ve finally decided only to buy the proper Brother toner cartridges. They are not cheap, but definitely worth the money if you care about the quality and durability of what you’re printing.

No cheap alternatives come close. Super black and contrast even in the lowest quality setting. Cheap toners I've tried are always greyish even on HQ print settings and sometimes you get very patchy covering unusable for anything. I'm sticking with Brother as at the end the cost is very similar but I always get very high quality print no mather the settings.

Great product, seems to last aged. Still feels expensive when compared to cheaper options out there (haven't tried them though). For home office use.

Slotted straight in and printed without any issues

So my printer has just started indicating low toner... checked my purchase history and I bought this original high yield cartridge in August 2021. That's over 4 years I got out of it. Now compare that to the previous 'compatible' cartridge I bought from office world for half the price in Jan 2021.... lasted just over 6 months. No brainer.

I recently bought a supposed quality compatible toner cartridge for my printer. What a waste of money that turned out to be. The print quality was poor from the start an got worse. I have gone back to the genuine article and the difference is amazing. The print quality is first class. Don't be tempted by compatibles .

Drop it in and it works instantly- no messing about with settings etc- and it lasts a long time Downside - it’s getting expensive now and no refund from Brother for returning empty cartridge
