Is the any dfference between this Locktite 222 & Locktite 222ms (mil spec)?

There is a VERY small difference with respect to the viscosity, with 222ms being SLIGHTLY thicker. Data sheet info for these products differ nominally, in that the 222 specs are stated for fasteners that are .25" or smaller in diameter and the 222ms data sheet refers to fasteners of .375". Both are designed to be removed with hand tools using 60 in/lbs. of force or less. I utilise 222 for attaching scope bases and rings to my various hunting rifles and pistols.....ranging from .22 up to 45/70. I've never had an issue with these fasteners backing out as a result of recoil, or during normal usage. For all intents and purposes, they appear to be interchangeable with range of temperature, break free resistance, and most other technical specs being virtually identical. I chose 222 because it is more readily available at my local hardware store. Hope this helps.

What's the best Loctite to use on a scissor screw and laptop case screws?

I would use the purple loctite ( low strength ) on your laptop case screws and the blue loctite ( medium strength ) on your scissors screw. Without hesitation. Neither will come loose on their own but you will have the ability to take them apart if needed without a problem. You must give the glue 24 hours to set, probably not a big deal with the laptop top but for sure wth the scissors and you would be doing the job right if you also waited with the laptop. Both glues will work great for your needs and worth buying

How long will a 6ml tube last? @Approx 20 drops per ml, 1-2 drops per screw = 60-120 screws? Does that seem right for electronics & other sm screws?

Hi Michael, I've used this probably once a week on various knives/watches pretty much whatever you can imagine that has tiny screws. Your pretty much right on the money estimate wise, however you may get more use out of it than that, as some screws are much smaller and a smaller amount of glue can do the job. Usually in applying the glue I'll take a toothpick and put a very tiny amount on it, and while wet I'll apply it to whatever I'm gluing. Typically I use much less than a drop when I use it. Hi will loctite purple work for eyeglass screws if i need to remove them at some point.

It should work quite well, but keep it away from lenses (as they are usually a plastic material of one kind or another). I know it is used by gunsmiths to keep tiny telescopic sight screws from loosening from vibration, and they must be removable for maintenance when necessary.
