4 Stars — Comfortable and a good value I’m actually pretty happy with this twin mattress. It’s comfortable and works well for what I needed it for. It came packaged really well and expanded nicely after being opened. It’s not the thickest mattress in the world, so I wouldn’t expect an extremely plush or luxury feel, but it’s still comfortable enough to sleep on. For the price, I think it’s a pretty good value and would recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable twin mattress. 💗

This turned out to be a perfect solution for a short-notice houseguest. I was expecting just a slab of foam, but this is a proper mattress. Appears well made, firm but not uncomfortable. I bought the 5” twin and it’s pretty supportive. Great price too! Do note the weight of these mattresses if you’re going to be hauling one around without help. They’re kind of heavy. Easier to unbox/unwrap first and then move. And when it says contents under pressure? True! It’s almost cartoonish how these things spring into form, it’s not gradual, it’s move-everything-outta-the-way! Pleased with my purchase and would recommend!

I never really write reviews anymore, but these mattresses absolutely deserve a chance. I can only speak to the 5 and 8 inch ones. I ordered the smaller size for a twin bed during the holidays when we had extra guests. It was a bit thinner than I had expected. More like a topper. But seriously the strength and support of that thing... you would never know. I loved it so much I replaced both of our children's twin beds with a new 8 inch mattress. They have slept soooo well. I had one who is on the spectrum and she has issues sleeping throughout the night. It's been crickets. I was actually just looking at these again because it's bedtime and I was thinking about swapping our mattress out as well. I think the only recommendations I can give, is go up to at least the 8inch for a child and perhaps a little more for an adult. They take a good full 2-3 days to max inflate and adjust. They will get there. Also, they are amazingly soft/hard all at once. My lower back is always sore but just laying on them is a huge release. You know when you lay down on the floor and it takes a little bit for all of your muscles and bones to adjust, but then it actually feels good. Imagine that kind of firmness, but soft and since it's like a memory foam it kind of has a give to support your shape as you move around. This was such a great purchase!!

Love this mattress. Easy to unbox and it expanded quickly. I did not notice an odor when unboxing. Soft and supportive, and a great price. I couldn’t find one that was this affordable at Walmart or Target.

It's a firm little mattress but comfortable my god daughter loves it my granddaughter loves it and I have slept on it and I have back problems but it didn't bother my back at all so that's saying something.

Nice dimensions, light weight, and otherwise does the job, but for a "medium firm" mattress, there are times when I feel like I'm sleeping on a brick. It honestly feels the same as my old box spring mattress on some nights.

Amazing mattress for my college dorm. After a week of setup, I have consistently felt refreshed in the morning. The firmness of the mattress is just as described!

A decent mattress, feels a bit softer than medium firm, but that could be subjective. The cover on the foam is definitely lesser quality seeming than previous Zinus mattresses I've had. It has a slippery kind of coating, so the sheet doesn't really stay tight, it slides around. I even custom sewed the sheet to properly fit this thinner mattress. So if you have sensory stuff with wrinkles under you, just a note. I have only had this mattress for a couple weeks and have always used with a sheet on it and a foam pad under it, and there are also already several pulls in the side of the cover material- not even sure how they would happen- maybe the sheet rubbing around on it?
