Because this item is really pricey for a paper towel holder, it took me a long time before I finally bit the bullet and made the purchase. After over a week of using it in my small apartment kitchen, I'm happy to say I have no regrets! The functionality of the holder can't be beat. I love that it doubles as a holder for the cleaning spray tube. It locks in place with a simple push down and can be released with a push as well. I really appreciate the convenience of having paper towels and a cleaning spray in one place; I no longer have to separately rummage for a bulky bottle spray. Quality product, very aesthetic though a little bit expensive

I have had this for less than a week. The thought of spending $80 on a freaking paper towel roll made me sick to my stomach. But then it went on sale and I was selling that dopamine high so I got it. And you know what? Dangit but I love it!! Is so solid, so classy looking and, most importantly, so handy! My kids spill everything, from peas to pee, mud to milk, jelly to jam. It’s so nice to have one, easily portable item to handle both the sanitation and clean up. I’m not apologizing for being extra. This is amazing.

It's convenient to have the cleaner and paper towels together, especially for wiping down counters after cooking. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the clamp that holds the paper towel roll. It's much tighter than I expected, and it frequently causes the paper towels to tear when trying to pull off a single sheet. Instead of getting a clean tear, I often end up with ripped or uneven pieces, which gets frustrating with everyday use. Overall, it's still a well-made and useful product, but I wish the tension on the clamp was a little lighter. If that were improved, it would easily be a 5-star kitchen accessory.

What a great innovative design. The sprayer works better than the dawn sprayer. It doesn’t use as much product. The spring tension arm works perfectly, so you can tear one sheet at a time.

The paper towel holder and sprayer are great and work really well. I have a ton of simplehuman items, from multiple trash cans, to this paper towel holder, to laundry baskets, etc. However, my experience with the company changed through this paper towel holder. After 4 months of normal use the sprayer was sitting on the counter and it was bumped and it tipped over and dropped from a standing position to a horizontal laying position. Now, this wasn't a drop to the floor, this wasn't an incidence where it was sent flying, it was just a tiny bump and it tipped over. When it tipped over I stood it back up and when I went to pick it up, the whole top part came off. The threaded area of the clear plastic part had broken. The sprayer hadn't experienced any other drops or harsh handling during the 4 months of use. I contacted simplehuman to explain what happened fully expecting them to replace the sprayer given that I've always had good experiences with the company in the past. This time, the representative told me that this was not covered and I could purchase a new sprayer at the provided link. THE REPLACEMENT SPRAYER IS 44% OF THE COST OF AN ENTIRELY BRAND NEW PAPER TOWEL HOLDER AND SPRAYER. In my opinion this is wildly unacceptable for a company that charges premium or near premium prices for their products and part of the reason I, and I would assume others, pay this premium is for the quality of items and the fact the company will take care of you in the event of their item being less than awesome. If this is the stance of the company, then you're better off paying half or less than half and getting a Chinese knockoff. You're more likely to get a free replacement out of them than simplehuman by a very wide margin. This will definitely be the last simplehuman product I'll ever buy and I can at least thank them for saving me money in the future and proving once again why paying a premium price means nothing if a company isn't willing to stand behind their products. Simplehuman is certainly no Dyson.
