THE book for allergy parents!
This book is incredible. The dairy free mum is informative and just gets everything about an allergy parents journey from diagnosis to starting weaning to trying the milk ladder.I found the book so easy to read but also like having a conversation with a friend. It is so easy to understand and lots of great advice and information about nutrition too.The recipes are brilliant. As you can see we have already tried the vanilla cupcakes which were a huge hit. Birthday parties are something I find hard to navigate with an allergy toddler but I have a bank of party food ideas now, thank you! Looking forward to trying the family meals too!

Best allergy book - great recipes
I have followed @thedairyfreemum for a while and was delighted that she had finally released a book. All her recipes are so easily followed, with wholesome fresh ingredients that you are not searching high and low for. They cater for the whole family and make sure your little ones are getting vital nutrients which is a top allergy parents worry. The book has lots of recipes for various mealtimes meaning you can find something for everyone. Can't wait to try some of the puddings! So happy to find this book, some I've bought before meant hours in the kitchen with a cupboard of ingredients I'd never use again - not this one.

A must buy for navigating a dairy allergy
I’ve been following the dairy free Mum since I discovered my baby had dairy & multiple other allergies at 6 months old in 2021 and I honestly wouldn’t have known where to start without finding her page.My son is 3.5 now so a lot of the introduction information isn’t new to me (still great for reference though!) but this book would have been an absolute lifesaver in those first few months.Reading the first part brought back how lost I felt, trying to navigate this new way of feeding my child, cooking, shopping, etc. People don’t appreciate how much it turns everyday family life upside down and this book covers pretty much everything you need to know.Allergies and in particular dairy are becoming so common that if anyone comes to me now for advice I’ll be either gifting them this or lending them my copy. The recipes are great and so easy to follow, I have cut out dairy in my own diet but my partner still eats dairy and he’s enjoyed them all too! My son is a very fussy eater and he’s enjoyed them all so far! I find that the flavours are just right (not too strong) so they’re perfect for babies/weaning- I just add a bit more seasoning etc to the adult portions.Being dairy free myself I was really missing lasagne and so finding an easy dairy free recipe has been great, the churros have also been a massive hit in my house!Kate has built a fantastic community online and should be so proud of this book.

Fantastic book - so so helpful.
I’d started to feel lost in the world of dairy free, wondering how to create varied and nutritious meals for my little person and also ensure they are getting lots of goodness.I now feel so much more informed and well equipped to create lovely nutritious tasty and dairy free meals and know they’re getting great food. The meals, snacks and deserts are varied for all tastes and taste wonderful. The traybake is next on my list for a pre-birthday party taste test!

Best recipe book I have ever bought!
THIS BOOK SHOULD BE GIVEN OUT WITH EVERY DAIRY ALLERGY DIAGNOSIS AS STANDARD!I never ever write reviews but OMG this book deserves one! My son was diagnosed with a serve dairy allergy at the beginning of the year. I've felt lost and so anxious ever since. The first bit of the book goes though soo much practical, helpful advice and information in such a friendly, caring, positive, supportive way. The recipes are the second part of the book and it has been SO refreshing to see simple, quick, family friendly recipes that don't break the bank! I have tired quite a few recipes now from the book and we all love them all! Before this book I had been cooking separate dairy free meals for my LO as I couldn't stand other dairy free / dairy alternative recipes but this book has meant that I've been cooking 1 meal for the whole family which is saving so much time and effort. It has also inspired and empowered me to try and make similar different recipes too. This book has been written from the heart and is so well thought out.To the author, thank you so much for helping my family in such a big way. You've given me more confidence to manage my son's allergy on many levels. I'm excited to try all the recipes!I really hope there are more books to come ❤️❤️❤️

So much more than 'just a cookbook!'
Literally can't tell you how grateful I am to have finally found an allergy cook book that I can actually use and that even the most untalented of cooks and bakers can use! If I can make them anyone can - it is so family friendly!!! This is definitely the allergy book people have been waiting for! The book provides a variety of delicious looking recipes, and taking the stress and worry out of having to think of alternatives is just amazing! I love the advice and guidance about the milk ladder and truly wish I had this when I first started my cmpa journey with my twins! Thank you so much for putting this out there!

Fantastic book for allergy families
Absolutely love this book (and wish I’d had it when I started weaning a year ago).Gives fantastic tips and advice at the beginning followed by easy to follow family recipes. It’s helped some of the anxiety and guilt I feel as a CMPA mama. Really useful recipes which have inspired me to get cooking again after falling into a bit of a rut of making the same things.firm faves so far are the mac n cheese, chicken noodle soup and the chia oat cookies.Thank you so much!!!
