Great tourch head for most applications
Great tourch. Not good for upside down use.Box says 60° I've used it at 90° many times & it's fine, but tipping it down more than that some times does work

Works perfectly
A good upgrade for anyone using a torch on a regular basis. Nice snug fit and functions great.

No in-betweens on this one
The moment I opened up the gas on this lovely gem, I knew I only had two flame intensities... off and full throttle. As soon as any gas starts to come out, it forces the flame adjustment knob to the full open position. You can try and manipulate the flame size by holding the knob, but it takes a steady hand otherwise the flame will go out.If you're looking to do anything intricate or need to be able to work with multiple flame intensities, then this one likely isn't for you. I actually like this torch head cause the flame is more intense compared to my last one also running at full throttle. If the flame adjustment knob actually did its one job or was maybe renamed the "on/off" switch then I would have given this torch head the full 5 stars.

Must have for tight spots.
Great product for the price. With the size of the torch and a couple fire blanket squares, you can sweat any pipe just about anywhere.

Tiny flame, stiff hose, doesn't fit the annealer.
I bought this torch in combination with an AGS Brass Annealer because it was in the "Frequently bought together" section. Not only does this torch NOT fit in the annealer's holder bracket (torch is too small) but, at least on the one I received, the flame was tiny even with the valve fully open. I have no way of knowing whether mine was defective or if that's the way they all are. When I returned to the torch's Amazon page, it said: "No longer available" or words to that effect. Maybe others had similar experiences. Also, the hose was VERY VERY stiff.I returned this item and bought a Bernzomatic torch and a Dozyant stainless steel braided adapter hose. These replacements cost about $14 more but it was money well spent. The torch fits the annealer's holder bracket, the flame is adequately large/hot, and the hose is flexible enough to not cause problems. Every once in a while, I need a reminder of the old adage: "You get what you pay for."

Hard to use
The price is good, made of plasticBut the gas is very inconsistent (turns off too often, make you trigger the ignition more than 3-5 times to get it back to start flame) maybe ignition isnt that good tooAfter burning few minutes, fire goes off again and if you give it more gas flow TURNS OFF FIRE, very complicatedUnfortunately i trashed the box, if not i would've returned it already...Won't recommend it, the price is low, the amount of work is high to get project done
