Rugged and sturdy case protects all my personal data and visual treasures. Has a good grip feel in my hand and in the holster clip on my belt. Makes the phone more bulky, but well worth the protection it provides. The install took a moment to think as it didn't slip right on, but also made me realize it wouldn't simply fall out.

The OtterBox defender iPhone case is super, my husband is tough on his phone due to his line of work and this case has held up like a champ. I highly recommend it to anyone needing an A+ product that lasts.

My other OtterBox was softer, more rubbery, and had a little more “bounce” if my phone fell. But this one seems fine so far. Don’t know why they changed the material. But I’ve always used Otterbox and have never broken a screen yet. 🤞🏻

This is my go-to case for my iPhone! Although it can be considered bulky, I do not mind it as it provides me with a comfortable grip. Also, the rubber case gives enough traction to not feel slippery. I like the raised edges around the camera lens to protect them when I lay that side down. In addition, I like the port covers to help block dirt, dust, lint, and even sand from getting into jacks and ports. In fact, it is because of the port covers that I introduced my husband to the Otterbox Defender case. We go on beach trips often. Sand had gotten into the port of his iPhone while we were at the beach. Although he thought he cleared the sand all out, his phone did not charge as well after that situation. His case at that time did not have port covers. When he got a new phone, I convinced him to try the Otterbox Defender case. Initially he was not certain about the “bulk” it added. But, over time, my husband has found the case to be very effective at protecting his phone. It is now his go-to case too!
