Raleigh - Avenir - ACB051 - Heavy Duty Nylon Bicycle Cover in Grey

Great product. Water resistant. Currently I cover my cycle (adults road bike), cycle for 2 year old and two other bikes. Well actually only the handle bars and saddles get covered. I will be ordering another one as it is not ideal for 4 cycles!!! It has rained a couple of day and the saddle is dry. No complaints about this product. Yes I do agree that it is fabric and it can tear but you just be a little careful. I am going to buy the same product again.

The shape and size of the cover are fine -it has a wider section to nicely fit over handlebars and the length is good for covering the whole bike. But I am unconvinced by the nylon-type material. I bought this for my girlfriend's bike, as I have a green pvc-style cover for my own already, which I was given by a friend. Put it like this: if I knew where my friend had got the green pvc cover, then I wouldn't bother with this Raleigh one. But against this, this product was the best price and features I could find, so it'll do a job.

Had a 'heavy duty' plastic cover from Halfords that ripped within 3 months so invested in this one. Not the cheapest but it's nylon so I shouldn't have the same problem. Little velcro tabs secure through the tyres to hold the cover in place - useful if windy! I've got an 18" ladies mountain bike and it fits it very comfortably.

Very poor quality item. Bought for an adult male mountain bike. Quite difficult to fit, but managed this after a fashion. Not quite covering the wheels, but covering the rest of the bike ok, so would have been acceptable. No sign of any clips, as described by other reviewers. In the first week, some holes were evident, likely caused by the awkwardness of covering. By the end of the month, one particular day, I found that the cover had simply split and was draped around my bike like a sash. Now it's completely useless. It may have been a little windy, but there was no major weather to speak of, and if it's meant to protect against rain, I'd expect it to cope with a certain amount of bad weather. Very disappointing. I do not recommend this product.

Weather protection is sufficient but it's too small to fit a large sized bike. I have a 57" Dutch style city bike and I can barely stretch the cove from the front wheel to the back wheel. When fitted, the cover only reaches down to the top half of each wheel, leaving both hubs exposed.

Brought for my retro 80's Raleigh shopper, and its a bit on the large size as its such a small bike, But it does the job perfectly as I store it on my outside stairs/landing which is open to the elements. Velcro strips keep the cover in place, and its still intact after gail force winds/snow/ice/rain. There are cheaper covers available but id recommend this if like me you have to make do with storing on balconies/stairwells anywhere outside. Also it does make your bike slightly more invisible/more of a faff to would be thieves.

I have racing Raleigh bike. This cover is a good water proof cover but in my opinion is too small. I can never fit my whole bike under, but its cheap so not a bad product overall.

I bought this cover to stop my saddle and the rest of my bike getting wet overnight, as I only have room to store it in my leaky shed at the back of my garden. Needless to say, it's certainly done it's job. It makes it satisfying to collect my bike in the morning and see a nice puddle of water gathered on the cover, knowing underneath it is a nice dry vehicle! It doesn't cover the whole bike; it fits it similar to the picture. However it fits over my saddle, gears and chain with no problem whatsoever. It comes with a travel pack which has been brilliant; I can easily pop it into my bag before travelling off again. Overall, a fantastic product which has certainly done it's job well, with the added extra of easy travel.

Permet de couvrir un vélo de taille standard sans aucun problème. Les scratch sont très pratiques pour attacher fermement la housse aux roues du vélo. Même par grand vent, la housse ne s'envole pas !
