Great product, even better customer support!
I've been using this Meross Matter Smart Plug for almost 18 months now, without any problems. Last week I woke up and the plug was dead, and I couldn't get it to power back on. I immediately reached out to Meross's customer support - this was easy to do and I had to fill out a quick problem describing the problem. I have today received a message back from Alicia at Meross who has instantly issued a replacement device to be sent out. The product is great, the customer experience is even better. Thank you so much!

works well with home assistant too!
works with home assistant! Fairly easy to setup on its own app - then pass a code to home assistant and use that instead of another hub. Its app updated its firmware OK. Nice it has power monitoring too.

Reliable matter smart plug with energy use monitoring, works well in Apple Home
This smart plug works reliably over Matter with Apple Home to control a lamp and make it smart. It has not once disconnected from my network or failed to respond. Installation is easy, although the Meross app isn't great, you do not need to interact with it often. The energy monitoring readings come through on the Apple Home app, and although I have not tested their accuracy, they seem to match what is plugged into it. This is a great, cheap way to make "dumb" devices work with a smart home, and Matter support means it should be compatible with all major smart home platforms - although I have only tested Apple Home.

Paired and working in minutes: See update !!!
Very easy to pair with Alexa Show 8 Ver 3. Routines easlily setup and carried out, Need to get some more.. UPDATE: 20.07.2025 They have proven to be very hit and miss in operation, I have to keep manually switching them off to be recognised again in app and carry out their routines. I have just ordered 8 Amazon Basic Smart Plugs and will be ditching these as there unreliable.

Matter Smart Plug
This is the smallest smart plug I’ve found with Matter support, and it performs reliably once set up. It’s solid and dependable in daily use. Setup can be hit or miss, sometimes it connects to Wi-Fi on the first try, other times it takes up to an hour. But once it’s online, it works flawlessly.

One star is FAR too many
Utter rubbish, HA finds the Matter info, but, of course cannot monitor power. App can't find the device, neither can WiFi - App goes round and round in circles - Hopeless cr*p!

Good and Easy to setup
Setups up with ease with Google Home, but you have to use the priopriatry app for the smart electric data.

Useful product.
It’s been a day of using it. Setting up the plug was very easy. The steps were intuitive enough. The setup was easy. App showed the electricity consumption which was the primary reason for buying this plug and the plug could be controlled via the app as well as Apple home. Overall value for money and good product so far
