This is a very well built unit. Everything is stainless steel. It has a huge surface area making it able to accommodate a lot of food or less food and faster drying. This does a great job and is able to dry a lot of meat, fruits, vegetables, or herbs at the same time. You are able to speed up total project time because this can do in 1 batch what most dehydrators I’ve used would take 2-4 batches. It is not very noisy. It’s about the same as most units much smaller. I have already dried a bunch of mint and oregano and some banana chips. If you want to do a lot of dehydrating this unit is a great value and a time saver. It hold so much food at one time. It only took 3 trays of banana chips to do the same amount as one of thr 8 try round dehydrators that most people have. You can put in a few trays of apple chips, banana chips, cranberries, blueberries and such and make the best trail mix all at the same time. I used to have to load the old dehydrator up with one thing at a time and do it all in batches. Now it is so much easier, faster, and the product is way better. Clean up is a breeze as the trays can all go right in the dishy! Highly recommend! It is so worth the extra money to upgrade.

I am amazed by how well this machine works. In the video was my trial attempt, I did couple days ago. It turned our amazing. I usually buy dried mangos from costco and these were just like the ones I buy. The machine itself is not heavy but it is big. No need for instructions in my opinion 😅 I used it just without it but do make sure that you don't cut the fruit too thin or too thick. I made that mistake on some fruits. I think it has to be half of a cm thick, this information is on the instructions. There is also a book with some recipes for fruits and meats. The while liner insure that food don't stick and peels right off. Mess free and easy to clean. There is a temperature guide next to control panel. I had the machine on my counter it doesn't get very hot ofcourse but I would still avoid putting anything near it. The machine makes a very minimal noise and doesn't bother when we are in the kitchen cooking. My airfryer is louder than this machine. I am aiming to feed my kids healthy foods and snacks and this helps me accomplish that. Yes maybe, I can continue to buy from store but this way I dry my own organic produce from my garden. It is well worth the money and time for me.

This machine worked good for 4 or 5 months, then it started acting a bit off. Eventually it ended up overheating to an extremely dangerous point. When I turned it off the heating element continued to heat to a red hot stage, I had to unplug it to make it stop. Thankfully I was home and went and checked on it before I went to bed.
