I injured my foot at work, and a coworker had this in the freezer, so I tried it. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. Pros: 1. The shape is great because it makes it much more versatile than a typical ice pack. The straps allow it to fit around just about any extremity joint, and because they're so long, it can also work for your shoulder or even your back (depending on your build). 2. Long-lasting cold. On my foot, it stays cold for about 1.5 hours, which I think is very reasonable. Cons: 1. Sometimes the long straps can be a little annoying because the Velcro sticks to itself while you're trying to wrap it around. I solved that by folding the Velcro end of the strap back on itself twice before wrapping it. Once the ice pack is in place, I unfold it once and fasten it like normal. 2. It can take a while to get cold (the manufacturer recommends about 4 hours), but I think the tradeoff is worth it because it stays cold for so long once it is frozen.

This ice pack is amazing. I love the way it fits so nicely around my knee. It is very comfortable and large, so if you need it for your back it would work well. It gets VERY cold, I can use it through my jeans and it still get very cold, but soothing. Direct skin for me is too cold. Very easy to use, stays in place with the 2 straps, and I feel that it is very durable, thick. Well worth the money.

It seems to work pretty well though mine doesn’t stay cool for more than about 30 minutes. Then it goed back i;the freezer and out comes the regular ice pack. I do appreciate that it cools and compresses.

Excellent product when recovering from knee and hip surgery. High quality, easy to use, large size helps distribute ice relief over larger area. Velcro straps were durable and didn’t easily become detached. Having 2 options for use (flicked side or plain side) helped when we needed more cooling effect. Product reached desires frozen state within short amount of time and allowed for at least an hour of temperature retention before needing to be returned back to freezer.

Works really well covering the whole top of knee and wraps almost all the way around leg. Cold lasts about 20-25 minutes. I like it much better than the machine that the hospital supplied after surgery because of coverage, fit and mobility so ordered a second one to rotate in freezer.

The design and size of this ice wrap is extremely well executed. The bands hold well enough that you can walk around without the ice wrap shifting. Now for the function. Every time I use the ice pack, it freezes over on the outside then defrosts and soaks everything underneath me. I have to use a towel under my leg to keep it from soaking my chair. It does not stay cold long enough to be completely effective. I was really excited about this product, but ended up only giving it three stars because of its deficiencies

Fantastic! I fractured my knee in January and this has been an amazing tool in my recovery. Even though it's thick, it freezes very fast and stayed cold for longer than I needed it on my knee. Back into the freezer and it was perfect again within just a couple of hours. Rinse & Repeat. Highly recommend it. I was looking at fancy cooling machines, but this was just more economical. I'm mobile again, have since graduated from big braces and crutches to a cane and a light brace, but still use this ice pack for pain and swelling. The velcro straps are long and solid, and should fit any circumference. They'll keep the pack in place, but it's not meant to be used for walking around and will slide down. The inner part of the pack is soft fabric, the pack itself is somewhat flexible to wrap around your knee. I'm sensitive and added a tea towel as buffer for my skin. At this price point I have nothing bad to say at all. In fact I'm glad I didn't go overboard by purchasing the cooler machine.

I love the fact it wraps around staying in place. After almost a month of pain in the back of my knee, this ice pack gave me great pain relief. I like the fact that it’s reusable and easy to use especially when you need to real fast. The straps are long and stretchy to wrap around your knee. It’s very strong and durable. You can take it anywhere with you. I highly recommend this wrap around ice pack for anyone who needs pain relief. I also use it on my shoulder and elbow. Oh and you can walk and bend your knee.

I ordered 2 pieces of the dark blue ice pack but received only 1 dark blue pack and a smaller light blue one. The bigger dark blue ice pack is as described. It covers a big area and the 2 straps give good compression. The smaller light blue ice pack doesn’t cover much area and has only 1 strap. So, it covers less area and gives less compression. Not so effective.
