Word of CAUTION! This fan when used as a standalone fan puts out a great deal of air and will blow itself over. DON'T GRAB FOR IT, IT WILL TAKE YOUR FINGER. I made a guard for each side to prevent accidents. I use it in a window in my bar area to carry out cigarette smoke. Also, plugging in the cord takes a little effort, but it will wiggle on.

Title says it all. I use it in a homemade roasted coffee bean cooler. It's important to cool the beans quickly after exiting the roaster. This little fan does exactly that. I would also say it is durable as I have been using it for quite some time.

Pros: Quiet for how much air it is moving. You only hear the air movement, not any vibration from the fan Plenty of power. I can tell this is moving a lot of air, which is good, as I intend to use it to improve air circulation in a terrarium. Uses a standard A/C wall plug (US type). This is nice as most fans like these seem to be made to plug into a computer's PSU or etc. For my application, I was really wanting one like this. Con: I wish I had a speed controller for this. I might need to use some sort of regulator to do that myself.

Nice *aluminum* framed fan. Turns out it is a touch too big for what I wanted to use it for, but I think I haven another project in mind for it. It isn't quiet, but wasn't designed to be either.
