Smatree Hard EVA Protective Sleeve for 16 inch Lenovo Legion 7i Gen 9

I’m very happy with this Smatree hard EVA protective sleeve. It fits my Lenovo ThinkPad perfectly and provides much better protection than a standard soft laptop case. The hard-shell exterior gives great peace of mind when carrying the laptop in a backpack or during travel. The build quality feels excellent, and the EVA material is sturdy without being overly bulky. It offers strong protection against bumps, pressure, and minor drops while still remaining lightweight and easy to carry around. The inside is lined with a soft material that helps prevent scratches and keeps the laptop secure. One thing I really appreciated was the precise fit for compatible ThinkPad models. I bought this for my Lenovo Yoga expecting it to be a nice protective carrying case, but I honestly ended up using it as so much more than that. My laptop basically lives in this 24/7 . I can use the Yoga while it’s still inside, and the case stays sturdy and snug instead of becoming something I have to constantly take on and off. The quality genuinely surprised me. The shell is hard and feels substantial without making the whole thing bulky or ridiculously heavy. There’s EVA protection inside, the edges are reinforced, and the stitching is really clean and precise. Nothing feels flimsy or like it’s going to start coming apart after a few months of use. The zipper also feels reliable and smooth, which is something I appreciate more than I expected. Most importantly, my laptop fits SNUG. It doesn’t slide around inside or shift every time I pick the case up, which gives me a lot more confidence when I’m carrying it around. I obviously haven’t intentionally dropped my laptop in it (and I’m hoping I never have to test that!), but it feels protective enough that I’d be comfortable trusting it to protect my Yoga from the normal bumps and accidents that happen when you're carrying a laptop around. I also really like that I can keep the laptop open and actually use it while it’s in the case. It stays just as secure and sturdy instead of feeling awkward or unstable. That’s probably my favorite feature because it means the case can stay on my laptop instead of just sitting in a closet until I need to transport it. The charger fits nicely in the case too. My only tiny complaint is that if the laptop and charger shift around, the charger port can sometimes be a little annoying to get to, but that’s such a minor issue that it really doesn't bother me. It also looks professional without being overly bulky or “laptop bag”-looking. Plain enough but i got it in green and really love the color, so much so I redecorated my office to match it . It’s lightweight enough to carry easily, but still feels like there’s actual protection there. After using it, I have a hard time imagining going back to a flimsy sleeve. Overall, this is way higher quality than I expected for the price, it is a great value for money and I can see myself using it for a very long time. If you want something protective enough to leave your Lenovo Yoga in all the time, not just a sleeve that you toss the laptop into when you leave the house, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Good case. Feels protective, durable and safe for my laptop. Looks good and it was priced fairly. Size is perfect for my Lenovo Legion Pro 7 that I bought about a month ago. A tiny bit bulky but it still fits fine in my bag. Nice padding on the inside and I love the tight corner straps.

I think we all have experienced the feeling of getting something so nice and new that you really don't want to use it. When I recently got a new laptop, I was so thrilled I was afraid to use it. So when I got around to picking up a case for it, I was thrilled! This thing is super tough. It fits the thing perfectly and absolutely feels worth the price. The case zips open and close without issue, and the exterior and interior are both soft and pleasant. I do have one issue with this case and it is that using any cables with the device, charging or otherwise, is near impossible. The case hugs the laptop maybe a little closely, and while I would love to never remove my laptop from this, I do find myself having to pretty often to charge. While I appreciate how well it stores my laptop, I wish they accounted for the cable usage a bit more. I know the future is wireless, but I still need to charge my device. Overall a great product however!

This is an exceptional semi-hard case. Has a nice professional look and I do feel that it would protect my case from most falls (within reason, like not off of a 100-foot fall or anything lol). It is well made with a nice thick zipper and I do like the securing bands for the bottom of the computer. This is not a cheaply made item, I can tell that whoever designed it did so with quality and affordability in mind. I'm sure there's something WOW about the cases that are $50 to 80 dollars, but I paid less than forty for this and I am very pleased. The only thing I don't care for is that when the case is open there is about an inch gap from the top of the laptop to where the top of the case. This is because of the wide gap at the seam of the case, it doesn't allow for a perfect fit when open. However, when closed it is a perfect fit and the part where your keypad is is also a perfect fit open or closed, which is the important part. Due to the securing bands the computer stays nicely in place when open. Yes, I DO recommend this for anyone shopping around.

Excellent protective sleeve for my Lenovo Legion 7i. The EVA material feels sturdy and provides great protection against bumps and scratches while still being lightweight. The fit is perfect for the 16-inch Legion, and the zipper is smooth and secure. It’s well-made, looks clean and professional, and gives me peace of mind when traveling or commuting. Perfect, sturdy, cute

For my LENOVO Legion 5 16ix9 the case was slightly small - see photos. Show I have the computer correctly placed at front of case, but the back does not fit. The PC overhangs the edge of the case and does not seat well. Otherwise, case looks nice and very solid. Also, this case is most suited for when placing a laptop in a suitcase. this case looks to offer a lot of protection. Otherwise, the case does not accept a strap and only a small handle. (also - where are you going to carry your charger !) One suggestion for the MFG - make some provision for a strap to hang.

Compré está funda de ordenador para mi marido, es electricista y necesitaba protección para su ordenador de trabajo. Carcasa dura que en caso de caída te protegerá algo, siempre que la caída no sea desde una décima planta. Tiene las gomas de sujeción, en caso de que lo quieras utilizar sin sacarlo de la funda. Tiene el asa para llevarlo con más facilidad y comodidad. A parte es muy practico a la hora de limpiarlo, yo le paso un paño un poco húmedo y se quita el polvillo de la obra. Recomendadisimo!

I bought the Smatree Hard EVA Protective Sleeve Case for my 16" Legion 7i Pro (Gen 8) after a rather alarming close call with a leaky drink in my backpack. Before this, I was relying on just the separate padded compartment within my bags, but it became clear they offer zero protection against liquid spills. This incident was a stark warning, compelling me to find a truly waterproof, and preferably hard, sleeve for my laptop when traveling. The Smatree case has been an excellent solution. The case fits the dimensions of my Legion 7i Pro (Gen 8) perfectly. It's genuinely hard, with just enough flex to absorb impacts, and the materials used feel very nice and durable. The top is nicely padded, and inside is a soft microfibre like material to prevent scratches from any movement. The zip is robust and smooth, adding to the overall sense of quality. What I particularly appreciate is that it doesn't add as much bulk as some other hard laptop sleeves I've encountered in the past. It still slides comfortably into the laptop section of my backpack (though, as expected, it won't fit into the inner padded sleeve bit of the backpack itself, as it is the protective layer). While the price is certainly on the higher end of what I'd typically be willing to pay for a laptop sleeve, I firmly believe it's justified. The peace of mind knowing my expensive gaming laptop is well-protected against screen damage or water ingress far outweighs the cost of this case. The potential repair or replacement costs for a high-end laptop would be astronomically higher.
