We ordered these plates for our special needs son who has difficulty eating on his own. We've tried every kind of special needs plate under the sun and even improvised some to allow for the plate to stay in place, have a lip that enables him to scoop food onto a utensil by himself, and overall be simple to use, clean, etc. This plate is the best! It stays in place, allows him to scoop his food, is durable an dish-washer safe, and at a very reasonable price. Made in the USA- thank you for a great product!

Got one of these for my grandma. GAME CHANGER. It does grip very well, just put a little pressure in the center on a clean surface. She lost mobility in her main right hand and has to use only her left, so sliding and scooping can be such a hassle causing cold food and low self esteem.... the grip doesn't let the plate slide all over and the slant in the plate lets her be able to scoop up everything! I like how it's double-sided as well. She has had one of these for months and it still works like it did on day 1. Easy to rinse off, too!Basically the dream plate for after-stroke folks (or any disability with getting food off plates). The only two things that would make it perfect is making the edge a little higher on the deep slant-side for even easier scooping and to make it dishwasher/microwave friendly.... but really, it's worth every penny.Will definitely be buying more.

I bought one of these and it worked great. Just what I need for my mother with dementia. Unfortunately, I pressed too hard and broke it. I ordered another one. The second one does not work very well. When I press it, most of the time it does not stick and when it does, by time I put the food on it, it no longer sticks. I wish there was some consistency with this product.I contacted the inventor of this plate. A very pleasant and caring gentleman. He explained that the problems I was having are user error. And he explained that my wood grain table was not ideal for the product use.He went above and beyond to help me with this problem.

I received the package taped up across each edge. Didn’t exactly translate as new/unused. The plate itself looked fine, but it wasn’t exactly what I thought. The suction applies to only one side, with the dividers. To get it to suction requires some elbow grease. I couldn’t get it to suction, but my husband could. He works in construction. We bought it to use with our infant, but wanted it more specifically for the slant side. Since it doesn’t suction it’s just not for us.

Thank you for helping us to assist our mom who suffers from dementia. The 3 compartments, the bright red color, (good color for dementia patient) and the suctioned bottom are everything we needed to be able to help mom to better feed herself with a spoon and keep the plate stabilized. We had been using china bowls just for the edges, and all her food would get blended together. Now she can enjoy different textures of foods and their flavors not all blended. We can also give her finger foods with a sauce to stay in a different spot on the sloped plate. This is a wonderful product, and we are all happy that we found it. Thanks!

This keeps the food on the plate and easier for thr who is only using one hand.

I bought both the large and small STAYnEAT plates for my husband who has Alzheimer's and also a Parkinson's-type tremor. He has had difficulty eating and these plates have been wonderful. The sloped surface with an edge has helped him get his food onto his eating utensil. The suction on the bottom keeps the plate from sliding away from him. They have made my life easier because there is less clean-up. And they are dishwasher-safe. Very impressed!

I met the creator at a convention in Nov 2019. He was friendly and shared his journey creating the product. He had a variety of colors available for sale and a few plates for display to test. The plates are sturdy and the materials are molded simultaneously so it's ONE piece, no glue or gunk added to keep it together. I wanted to buy a Lg/SM set as a gift, but he sold out quickly and I had to the smaller plate online to complete my set.
