does this pedal come with the adapter?

No, it does take 9V battery, and most 9V pedal adaptors will work with it. I use a pedal power brick for my board, so didn't need one. It's not a bad pedal for the price. Quite a warm dark sound. It's stacks up nicely with other overdrives and distortions. Sounds great with a tube screamer! I've also got an electro harmonix soul food which is a much brighter overdrive for a similar price. It's a great clone of the old Klon centaurs, but for a fraction of the £1000 you have to spend on one. Depends what you're after.

Will this work good with my Vox ac 30 tube amp thanks.

I see no reason why it should not work well with any amp.. Mine works on Orange and Blackstar Amps.
