Portable Blender for Smoothies With 14 oz. Travel Jar

This is my second one. The first one lasted about 6 years of frequent use. I use it to make fruit smoothies. It works really well for that. Make sure you add at least the recommended amount of water.

I bought this originally for when I got my wisdom teeth out, but now I use it every day.I just throw it in the dishwasher and it usually comes out clean. Like anything else, if you leave it out for a few days, you may have to soak it first before putting it in the dishwasher.The lid did end up cracking on the sipper part (probably because the heat of the dishwasher). But I ordered a new lid from the company's website and it has been working great since!For the money, I think this is a great buy

Works efficiently even though it takes time,plus the color is very adorable and I think it's cool you can change the color of the container.

I ordered this Hamilton Beach Portable Blender for Shakes and Smoothies because I did NOT want another device that required a USB charger. This plugs into the wall, and that's what I wanted.I also love the blue color!This works as expected. I don't use ice in my smoothies, so I can't speak to how it processes ice cubes. However, it does seem to have some trouble with frozen fruit. I have to stop, stir, and push the fruit down in order to get it to become "smooth," which is what you want a smoothie to be.Overall, though, I am happy with this and have made a smoothie every single day since receiving it. The product works as advertised, for the most part. The lid doesn't fit as tight as I would like, but it works. I like that I can just remove the cup with the lid, insert a straw, and drink up my smoothie. It's easy to hand-wash, but I have not put it in the dishwasher.Overall, if you are looking for an electric smoothie maker, this does the job. For 25 bucks, I think this is a pretty good deal. It's fairly durable, somewhat versatile, and as long as you wash before using, there are no lingering chemical odors. The smoothies taste great!Not sure of the longevity of this, but so far, so good.Four stars.

My grandchildren and I made all kinds of goodies with this. We made homemade fruit Popsicles, smoothies and milkshakes! Super easy to use and clean.

...if I could. I thought this single-serve blender was the same as my old black single-serve Hamilton Beach, which I recently/finally burned up from overuse. But this one has a lid that's weirdly taller and more cumbersome (it's next to impossible to attach securely and hard to remove without regret), there is no cord storage crevice around the bottom, and it just doesn't blend without considerable intervention. That means I had to keep unplugging it and going in with a big spoon to scrape my bunched-up ingredients off the inside of the "glass." The motor makes lots of noise but lends only the bare minimum power. What it lacks in efficiency it makes up for in sonic loudness. My last Hamilton Beach was really great for a very long time. This one was a waste of money right out of the box and, after just two uses, is going in the trash as soon as the Mueller single-serve I ordered arrives (tomorrow🤞). Honestly, so many Hamilton Beach single-serve blenders are, at present, being sold on Amazon, at every possible price-point, with no obvious indication as to what makes one different from all the others that, maybe, it would good for the folks at Hamilton Beach to ask themselves what they're trying to accomplish here. Besides forcing customers to turn to a competitor. What a ridiculous experience.You've been warned.

Hammy Beach is cheap, has a light operating motor housed in plastic gears that cannot last for very long. It has a thin cheap plastic blender jar. But sometimes you decide to purchase something with low features and economical cost to bring on a brief stay.... This blender is fine for a time. It is ONLY for a individual serving of a soft shake or smoothie with semi frozen fruits, tiny ice chips and or spinach that has been blended ahead of time. If you want to blend ice cubes, solid frozen fruit, hard items like nuts, broccoli, beets, pineapples, apples, or if your life "requires lots of attachments" and portable containers than buy something that costs a lot more money and will last a long time.

I bought this for my mom recently diagnosed with cancer. Radiation has caused her esophagus to burn so she's been relying on smoothies for nutrition as it's hard to eat solid foods. It's a powerful, durable little blender but compact enough she's able to toss it in her bag and take to her chemo and dr appointments that are all day long. Would recommend.

This is a easy to use and to clean blender not to big not to small. I got the blue one the colour nice. It blends well.it makes about two cups Love it.
