I had a like regular bristle brush with a plastic head and when scrubbing the green off of the pool walls, it snapped. Imagine jumping into a FREEZING COLD pool to fetch out this stupid brush head. So what did I do? Hopped on Amazon and ordered this bad boy. I scrubbed the ever living crap out of that pool. We are talking hours a day for WEEKS to get the algae off. The head never broke. Idk what it is, but it’s some type of metal so not cheap like plastic! Definitely worth it, y’all upgrade your brushes now. This has preformed flawlessly. And do buy the product called the whale tail and attach it to this brush for effortless brushing.

When I took it out of the package I thought, how could a couple of stainless bristles make any difference? This brush is amazing. Very easy to use. I get results with half the effort. Which is good because I’m tired of cleaning the pool.

The brush I received was not a combination of nylon and stainless bristles. It was all steel bristles but I kept it anyway. It did a good job of scrubbing off the algae on my pool walls. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it wasn’t as described in the listing.

Review 5/17/2019: This is a very nice brush. The mix of stainless bristles makes it easy to scrub my gunite pool. It seems very sturdy, and I have not had any bristles fall out (an issue with some of the other brands that I have purchased in the past). I will update to reflect its longevity in the future. This brush easily fit my standard pool extension pole, and the extra clips are a nice bonus. Update 6/13/2020: After over a year outdoors in the California heat, this pool brush is still in great shape. The bristles have not fallen off nor have the stainless bristles rusted.
