Great DVD! - not a CD....
This is a great DVD of early JJ Cale with Leon Russell.Great audio and in tune to play along with.Awesome deal.

TOTAL DUD!! NO SOUND ON THIS CD!!
I missed the deadline to return it, rats!! This CD doesn't work - it's a DUD. I would have like to give it MINUS stars. So disappointed. I tried to play It in my car ( where I listen to most of my music) and it just goes from CDPlaying to NOCD. In other words it's being rejected. I kept forgetting to bring it home to try it on my home player and finally I did - same thing. This is a ZERO buy. DON"T BUY IT!!

J.J. Cale et Leon Russell : retrouvaille entre "Okies"
La musique est superlative : un best-of de J.J. Cale jusqu'en 1979, date d'enregistrement de la séance dans les studios Paradise de Leon Russell à Los Angeles . Dommage que Russell n'interprète pas quelques uns de ses titres puisqu'il intervient au chant-solo .Le son est globalement bon même si Christine Lakeland (Mme Cale) est un peu noyée dans le mixage (son harmonica est carrément inaudible) .Les musiciens sont au top, notamment le guitariste qui complète à merveille le jeu fin et tout en sobriété de J.J. Cale .La qualité de l'image aurait pu être soignée lors de l'édition d'un DVD dont les bonus (audio uniquement) sont assez pauvres, d'où la note finale .

Not much DVD of JJ available so beggars can't be choosers but... This is ok but low energy performance a bit like gate crashing a practice session. Don't think I'll pay it very often - stick to the vinyl records.

Terrific DVD with great tracks
Terrific DVD with great tracks. So few actual live films of the late JJ, good that this one has emerged. Have the Tulsa trip DVD which is also excellent but from an era of around 30 years later ,featuring the same musicians in his band!

This is a absolutely brilliant studio concert ,JJ Cale is so sharp here and a bit more rocking than normally , I enjoyed every second of the concert !
