Only local disks can have multiple partitions.** A: It actually shows up as if it was a external hard drive as opposed to a flash drive. But it functions as far as I can tell as if it was the removable flash drive it is. It even pops up with that icon on the taskbar that says "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" and when you put it in your computer, it does that AutoPlay thing. I haven't had a chance to benchmark it on newer hardware, but on an i7-4790K with native Intel USB 3.0 ports in UASP, the latency is an average of 0.2ms (HD Tune). Yes, I don't know why manufacturer information is so useless. This is basically a USB-integrated SSD with very similar performance to my Samsung T3. The T3, however, is 0.1ms and is much more consistent in terms of performance over time.
