Replacing just the wheels rather than the entire castor unit is far cheaper option. These wheels matched the diameter and width of the original wheels. The suitcase I was repairing was an original American Tourista and the wheels had a plastic cap over the axel. This had to be pried off to reveal a pin with the end swayed over like a rivet. This had to be drilled out. Fitting the new wheel was easy. They come with a threaded axel pin, two washers and a screw. Simply tighten up with the Allen keys provided. I was impressed the screw came with loctite already on the thread. The only problem was the plastic caps could not be refitted as the screw heads are bigger than the rivet heads. Never mind still looks good.

Got these to replace the wheels in a well used Samsonite. Time will tell but I think it is a good product. The wheels have bearings where the original ones had just an axle (still it was the rubber in the wheel that disintegrated). I needed 3 sims per wheel. The screws have some thread locker on - nice. The suitcase now rolls very freely. To remove the rivets, drill with a 6 mm bit but carefully, do not drill through to the plastic behind. If you do you ll need a piece of 7 mm brass tube to sim the hole.

Good sturdy wheels. Fits tripp suitcase but the bolt is a little long and can't be shortened so I added a couple of extra washers. Cases have been used with new wheels and were great. Can't comment on longevity but being one piece the worse thatcanhappen is wearing down. The orignal tripp wheel tyres came off so needed replacing.

Perfect fit for my Tripp Ultra Lite cabin bag. Bit of a fiddly work getting the old wheels off, but once they're off these are very easy to assemble.

One of the wheels on my daughter’s cabin trolley totally disintegrated. Ordered this item, which was promptly received. Well packaged and very little to recycle. Hardest job was in having to remove the existing wheels. Had to had to cut through the spindle with a hacksaw blade. Once removed it was very simple to replace all the wheels and now my daughter has a fully functioning wheeled trolley !

Quality of the kit is excellent and installation is very easy once you have removed the original wheels from the suitcase.

These were easy to fit and work well. Check the diameter of your existing wheels carefully, other sizes are available as well.

The wheels look good quality. But it is not possible to take out the old wheels. The pins delivered with the wheels are useless, you cant remove the old wheels with it. . The only way is to drilll the old pin which is extremely difficult. The description of the product is misleading.

Alles ist noch gut zu nutzen, bis auf diese Laufräder eben. Nach dem Austausch, wie neu. Läuft ruhig und gleichmäßig. Das war eine Reparatur, die sich gelohnt hat.
