Wanted to mention that these are listed as vegetarian capsules not because of the supplement itself, but based on the capsule being made of vegetable cellulose (a plant fiber) instead of animal gelatin. And while yes, indole-3-carbinol is based on an extract found in brassicas, this product makes no claims on the label whether this was laboratory created or naturally derived. Indole-3-carbinol is meant to support healthy hormone function, which means it can significantly affect hormones in the body. While it's mostly studied for how it converts to diindolylmethane in the body, it converts into several other things that aren't as well studied. But keep this in mind since you would want to check with your doctor about side effects and interactions. Taking I3c is different than taking more vitamin D.That all being said, this was a good product. All of the pills were intact with no breakage or spilled powder inside the bottle. The notorious smell of indole was minimal, kind of eggy and chemical. The value is fine.

Great Indole 3 Carbinol Supplement.I decided to try these because of their claims to support prostrate health as well as breast and cervical. I don't eat a lot of cruciferous vegetables so I was looking for something that could help with some of the benefits I may be missing, this seemed to fit my needs nicely. I found these easy to take with no aftertaste or aftereffects. Overall great value for the cost.

I take these for the health benefits of cruciferous vegetables. They aren't a replacement for cruciferous vegetables, but they can supplement the reduced servings for those that don't like or can't eat enough broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. The pills do have an aroma, but are easy to swallow with no unpleasant side effects.

Even though I eat a lot of cruciferous vegetables I don’t always have them daily. After reading that Indole-3-Carbonol comes from glucobrassicinI, which is in cruciferous vegetables, I wanted to try this. Of course everyone should do their own research but I think taking this could be beneficial to me if I tolerate it well and so far it doesn’t cause any negative physical side affects. I take it with food. It is made in the USA and free of GMO and many allergens. The odor when I open the bottle is strong but to me no worse as some multi or B vitamins I have had. I like that the serving size is only 1 vegetarian capsule. It came with a little travel pill case. Glad to have become aware of this company!

I've never heard of Indole-3-Carbinol before. However, it caught my attention due to the alleged benefits.The bottle label doesn't make extravagant claims. It's fairly generic as compared to the product listing which claims breast, cervical, & prostate health.However, when do a google search, those benefits in the product listing aren't really listed that I could see.The product label states there are 120 "vegetarian" capsules. I assume because Indole-3-Carbinol is found in cruciferous vegetables that supposedly has cancer-fighting properties. This is something that is good to know but whether the capsule can duplicate the effects of actual vegetables, who knows.Because there is no way, I can actually verify this, I take the label at its word for the purposes of this review. The capsule itself is yellowish and has no significant scent. It has 400mg of Indole-3-Carbinol but there is no official DV% for it.I consider the contents of this bottle fairly unknown but I was intrigued which is why I wanted to try it out.

The 400mg dosage in one capsule makes it simple to incorporate into my daily routine. The 120 capsule bottle provides a two-month supply.
