This has been an absolute godsend for doing paint touch-up on my cars - it's brilliant for cutting down the raised edges that invariably appear around stone chips and is also excellent for smoothing off the raised "blob" that remains after applying touch up paint. Just be sure to let the touch-up paint/lacquer fully harden first. I thought it seemed a bit pricey initially but it's honestly been worth every penny and once you get the hang of using it it's a far more convenient alternative to wet sanding the paint blobs/raised edges and also means you you're not cutting into the paint/top coat of the surrounding paintwork.

I recommend the product. It's really worth buying.

Enligt proffs så är den här bäst när det gäller att ta hand om mindre tinningar vid billackering. Jag har inte hunnit använda den än.

La piastrina metallica Mirka, (in acciaio duro) a differenza delle piastrine di forma rettangolare o quadra, è stata prodotta con una forma (a pinna di squalo) che mi ha permesso di procedere anche su parti di carrozzeria con profili differenti dal solo “in piano”, adattandosi (con un po’ di attenzione) anche a superfici concave (tipo parafanghi e interno maniglie). Oltre alla forma è anche un po’ più grande delle altre e quindi risulta più maneggevole. Ottimo e indispensabile strumento di lavoro che dimezza il tempo di carteggiatura (prima della fase di finitura con paste abrasive lucidanti e cera) permettendo di livellare/spianare colature e/o punti di polvere (presenti più spesso sul trasparente) e di passare direttamente (in sequenza) a carta abrasiva 1200, 1500, 2000, 3000. Personalmente ritengo sia il metodo migliore.
