Rich pigment
Below are my reasons for why I like/dislike these acrylic markers. Here’s what I liked:- they are easy to get going once you shake them up. The pigment reaches the nib rather fast so long as you shook it up good. Just press it down and it reaches the nib in under 20 secs. I’ve had other brands take longer, so this is really nice to not have to wait too long.- pigment is rich and flows smoothly- colors are bold and vibrant- you can see how much paint you have left in the tube- you can store them on their side in a flat case and they won’t leak.- they wash off your skin easily w/ soap and water- they are able to be used on canvas with no issues- you can use them on a variety of surfaces- they can be blended with acrylic paint if you work fast since acrylic dries fast- the markers dry fast tooWhat I disliked:- there is a slight smell to them if you are working real close to your surface. (I painted with these and i do get close to my surface most times. I picked up a slight smell from these. It didn’t stop me from using them though.)- though the pigment is rich and flows smooth, i found in my experience using them that if i set down a color for 30 min or more and then went back to reuse it, the tip may have needed to be resaturated with pigment before using it again. So a lil shake, press down to moisten it again and you should be good to go. I think this is probaly common with the paint pens that have the tip that need to be pressed down vs a brush pen where a press down is not needed.- when you are pressing down on your nibs, be sure to maybe do it off to the side instead of on your actual art piece because i experienced a slight flood/leak when i pressed down on the nib to get pigment to it. I was able to correct it and blend it into my piece no problem but just be aware, you might want to do this off to the side.Other than that, I really enjoyed working with these. I think the pigment quality is great! They’re rich, bold, and vibrant. They can be used on a variety of surfaces. They work well. I only wish they used a brush tip but that’s more a personal con. Other than that, these are great. Don’t hesitate to buy these. The price point is great for the amount you get.

Dried up
When I bought these a few were already dried up and it didn't take long for the others to dry up. I would not recommend them.

Great Color Assortment, Easy To Use.
We travel a lot in our motorhome. Frequently my wife will paint rocks with a tasteful message or happy picture. She will leave it somewhere so that it can be found. She also documents our visiting of some amazing place with an appropriate size and shaped rock. These make for nice knickknacks on our fireplace mantel at home. For simplicity, she decided to shift from paint brushes to paint pens. She was impressed with the ease of use of these Acrylic Paint Pens. Accidently turning over a bottle of paint makes a big mess! Pens to the rescue. There is a learning curve in getting used to using them. It does take a little time to get the business end loaded with paint when they are new. She likes the control she has with the pens. Also the risk of making a big accidental mess (turning over a paint jar), is no longer a concern. She would caution against tapping the paint tip against a hard surface for priming purposes…that can/will damage the end/tip. She says to shake them well and then gently press the tip up and down until you get a paint flow. While using the pens, you will need to re-prime once or twice to refresh the paint on the tip.CAUTION: Please re-read the previous paragraph about shaking and priming. It takes a minute or two to get the paint properly mixed. The pigment and the liquid carrier does separate so shaking is a must. The other thing is… Do NOT attempt to unscrew the cap! If you do that you can easily unscrew the entire end of the pen assembly. That could get messy! The cap simply pulls off!She has painted several different rocks so far and continues to be pleased with the pens. Thanks for taking time to read our review!MY PERSONAL COMMENTS:I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. We are provided the opportunity to order (free of charge) many items that are new to the market, or where a seller just wants some additional exposure for their product. We are NOT required to review every item in exchange for using it. I personally only order products that are important to me (items I can use), or items that I have the ability to properly test (I have lots of test equipment) so that I can provide an honest evaluation & review (and not always a 4 or 5 star) based upon my use and testing of the product. Thanks…feel comfortable with any information I provide in a review.

Nice, affordable set of acrylic markers. But not my go to, favorites.
These actually surprised me. At the current price (below $10 for 24 markers), I was a bit skeptical on if they would work well. While not professional quality, they do have a lovely pigment and coverage is decent. The colors are nice and a decent variety. The reason I give these 4 stars: I have a few acrylic paint sets, so I compare but also take into account the value. The biggest problem is that these are not opaque. For instance I wanted to color over a light pencil sketch with yellow, but after 2 coats the pencil marks still showed through. Not something I've experienced with other brands. Also a couple of the markers did not work at all. They seemed dried up throughout which was disappointing. But they are great for quick easy projects, and for kids. Especially when taking into account each marker is less than 50 cents. So for that I think it deserves a solid 4 stars. But if you are looking for something more opaque, a finer tip or more reliable (and pricier) quality, I honestly recommend something else. Also on paper, these are a quite a bit more abrasive than my other brands due to the tips not being brush-like. It wears down the paper quickly. So higher quality paper like Bristol, or something that supports harsher media works better. But on metal, stone, wood or plastic these apply better. So scrapbooking as they suggest? I personally would pass.

Kids love these!!
My classroom kids were starting to paint rocks this week and these paint pens came in handy!! First, the amount of usual mess from painting was cut down so much, that clean up took was lees time than usual. The kids were able to blend the paints easily on the surface but the tips now have different colors on them!! I was able to wash off the mix colors from the tips and there were / are good to go now! These are a great painting alternative and highly recommend.
