I'm 60+ with "mature" (old) dry skin but also blackheads from sunscreen use. Have other elders tried this, will it dry up/wrinkle my skin even more?

I'm also 60 and have old and yet still "touchy" skin. I can (and DO) use this every night to keep things unclogged. It works Fast, doesn't over dry like the benzoyl peroxide products , I can apply makeup over it and it doesn't ruin your wash cloths. It IS getting hard to find so get while you can!

Does this work to clear the old acne spots/marks?

Technically, salicylic acid helps with hyperpigmentation, but I think this formula is way too drying to use for that and should really just be used as a spot treatment. You’re better off trying a product that has Azelaic Acid or like a BHA toner for PIH. The Ordinary has a pretty affordable and effective Azaleic Acid. When starting with a BHA, you might want to start like 2-3 times a week for a month and see how your skin reacts. It works by exfoliating dead skin cells and for some people that can be harsh.

Can it help with black/white heads?

Don’t know. I bought it for my granddaughters pimple breakout and it worked for that
