Pesto, Tomato & Ricotta, 6.7 Ounce Glass Jar

There used to be an image for this product, yet now it's gone!? O.k., so I love pasta and tomato sauce, and spaghetti sauce. Granted, this little jar is umm, yeah pretty pricey, but... OMG! Is it ever so, so good! I wasn't sure how this was going to taste, cause I'm not a fan of cashews, but I was taken aback by the epic taste of this sauce, as a whole. Extremely, very robust in flavor! Now, obviously this is not a traditional spaghetti sauce, by any means. It is also, extremely thick. So, to make it a 'spaghetti sauce' equivalent, I pour the whole container in a pot, and then I fill up the jar with the same amount of water. Stir occasionally, until heated/ cooked thoroughly. Pour half over your preferred choice of spaghetti noodles. Makes 2 decent servings (for myself). I now buy this whenever I crave spaghetti. I'm thankful that it's here, on Amazon (even though again, a bit pricey), but my grocery store doesn't carry it. So, this is not an all the time purchase, but it's still a must have instead of the rest of the 'spaghetti sauces' out there. I very highly recommend this one; it is so, so good!

First time I tried this and this was amazing. I wish it came in a bigger bottle. The taste is so good just put on noodles. You can even mix it in rice based it on chicken, fish, and pork.!!!

I love this stuff! I put it on eggs and pretty much everything you can imagine. Didn't love that it came unwrapped with 1/4 bottles broken and glass and sauce all over everything in the box.

Overall it is one of the most-best-tasting jar sauces my family and I have ever tasted! It is EXCELLENT on Pappardelle pasta! It is everything I love in a tomato-based sauce and with the added pesto and ricotta, it just escalated this for me to now my favorite prep-made sauce. The one issue I have is the price and the size of the jar. Too much for so little. The jar is the size of a cup of tea [6oz], less than an actual cup [8oz]. Keep in mind, most children's juice boxes are about 6 ounces each. So for my family of 4, I would have to buy at least 4 jars. A jar per person approx. in my own opinion. Depending on other factors such as appetite, the pasta that's chosen, etc. Yet, DO NOT LET THE PRICE STOP YOU FROM TRYING THIS SAUCE AT LEAST ONCE! Real good stuff!!!

I didn't realize how tiny this bottle was, which is my fault for not checking, but it barely has enough for maybe 2 servings (1 serving if you have a healthy appetite). As for its taste, it's just OK. You mainly taste Ricotta cheese with a hint of tomato, which is rather boring. I think it would taste better if you use this as a base and add spice to create a richer sauce rather than using it as is.
