The product works well on smooth tile, but you need to follow the instructions, and allow them to adhere for 24 hours. I tightened them as instructed, approximately 3 x's during that time frame, and was surprised that they had a little slack to do so. After the 3rd time, they were tight and did not need additional tightening. They have been installed for over a week now, and holding well. They were more expensive than the white or clear hooks, but look so much classier, so it was worth it to me.

I hung one on the outside of my glass shower door to keep my bath towel at arms length when I got out of the shower. So far it has worked perfectly and I am very pleased with how it looks. I did follow the instructions carefully though and I have had no issues whatsoever. Love the look of it. Very stylish.

They've been installed without falling for almost 3 weeks now. They fell after a day for almost a week straight then I started getting online to see if others were having the same issue, which I saw a lot were. You have to keep tightening these a few times a day for the first few days and it also helps to damped the back suction cups before installation and after you clean both surfaces. I was about 1 try from returning these but so far they've stayed, so I'll monitor these over the next few weeks. I would give a 5* if these would have stayed from the very beginning.

I bought these in 2018. I won’t go into the instructions since many other reviewers already cover them (plus, I don’t remember them at this point anyway). I’m here to leave a follow-up review of how they’re holding up. In brief, pretty great! I use them on my glass shower doors to keep towels within easy reach. They’re strong enough to hold the heavier towels I use in winter. They’ve held on strong over the years, popping off maybe once a year; however, they’ve started to fall a few times this past year. Maybe they’re nearing the end of their life cycle, but having lasted this long, I’d say they’re a great value and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

After several months of use in my new shower, I can say that these hooks are truly amazing! I waited to see if they eventually lost their grip power, but they are holding well. It sure beats having to drill into the shower tile! I use them for a shower cap and a wash cloth. Very simple to install on a non-porous surface, like tile......I'll add to this review that I have also purchased a soap dish with this type of suction, and it is fabulous as well......with a heavy soap bar in it. I was a doubter, but this type of suction really holds well.

Sometimes one has to get creative about home repairs! When the 35-year-old, preinstalled lucite grab bar on my fiberglass tub wall shattered, I was left with a gaping round hole on one side, and a broken-off bit of the bar behind the hole on the other side, so that installing a new bar wasn't possible. I hunted for a solution, and these hooks fit the bill perfectly. They matched my bronze plumbing fixtures; they were the right size. I didn't even attempt to use the suction feature; I installed them onto the fiberglass with plumber's glue. They are sturdy, and, as the photo shows, they are just right for holding bath scrub puffs and brushes and shower caps and wash cloths. They're attractive and a whole lot more useful than that oddly-placed grab bar ever was! A great solution for my home repair problem.

Thought this would be a really great addition both functionally and aesthetically in our combo claw tub / rain shower wash area but try as I might, I cannot get the bronze hook holder to stay attached to the base clear circle as shown on the installation. I wish it worked because if it did, it would be a 5 but unfortunately, this one doesn't make the grade. :-(
