Q: Loved the size of pellets I first purchased. Mini is too small, large too large. Which one is in between the 2?

The Growth Formula is available in the Mini (2/16 inch) and Large (3/16 inch) Pellet sizes. It is not available in another size pellet. However, there is a Blend Pellet option available, which includes both the Mini and Large pellets.

Q: can feed this to my cichlid fish?

This is formulated for koi. Koi are mostly vegetarian. I believe your cichlids are probably carnivores or insectivores. I would be concerned that this formula would not provide them with the proper nutrition. They make specific cichlid food, and I would stick to that. It probably would not hurt them to feed this food short-term or in a pinch. But it is probably not a good idea to make it their sole diet.
