I bought this light for my coleus plants that I planted in a big pot for outside on my balcony. Since I live in a cold climate, I had to bring them in a few weeks ago. When I lived in California, I would have beautiful coleus plants in my house and wanted to keep my outside plants alive during the winter. Now I live in a condo with very few windows and my plants immediately started dropping their beautiful leaves once they were brought indoors. So I found this light and was hoping that it would help. There was no installation and I pushed the pole directly into the large pot I had. Almost immediately, the plants responded to this light and instead of drooping, they are starting to reach for the light. Leaves are no longer falling off and it now seems to be a happy plant. Not to mention it gives this part of my house some much needed lighting. It looks like a halo over the plants. I didn't want a light taking up space and this one works great by just sticking right into the dirt. Some reviewers have said that it falls out of the pot because the cord goes in to the light itself as opposed to be on the bottom of the pole. I have not had any problems with this. I have it set on the timer to come on at 9 in the morning and it shuts off automatically at 6. It is large enough to get all of the plants without it being to obnoxious looking. I, and my plants, love this little lamp.

I’ve had this light for coming on ~3 years. The rubber plant that is under it is my happiest and easiest plant. The timer functionality means I set it and don’t have to fuss with it again, another plus. Leaving a review cuz I am coming back to buy more and I feel like that’s a pretty good sign of a good product

I bought two sets of two almost two years ago and they did a great job of keeping some of my porch plants alive through two winters after bringing them in. No problems with power supplies; they've run continuously for over a year. I ordered another set because who doesn't like to save more plants? The new power supplies are much smaller, and of a different output than the original. My older ones are 24v; 1A, the newer ones are 12v 2A. They are not interchangeable, even though the DC plug is exactly the same. They fit much better on a power strip and do not block other ports. The light angles are easily adjusted, and they include a little wrench to tighten up when you've adjusted a lot.

I purchased two sets of the 10" grow lights in January 2024 for my large monstera deliciosa plant. In every box, it seems as though there's at least one defective light. Inside of the box, they give you a bolt tightener, which I have needed despite touching this particular grow light once (to insert it into the soil). Every day that I check on my plant, it seems as though the circular part of the light has loosened up (I live alone). I walked into my plant room this morning and the circular part of the light was literally hanging from the pole. I used the bolt tightener to put it back on the pole and the light went out and is no longer working. These lights aren't cheap and it's a little frustrating that I'm now outside of the return window. I have tried emailing the company via the email provided in the original box, but of course, no response. While the lights do work well, they seem to fall apart too easily. On to search for a better option. February 2025 Update: After my initial review, they reached out to me via Amazon to reflect the defective lights. They sent me a new set (2 lights) of lights to replace the broken light. I raised the review from a single star to 4 stars. The replacement lights are still going strong.

Update- The seller reached out to me and we were able to troubleshoot the item. The adapter was faulty on one of the two units. They were able to send me a replacement adapter free of charge and the unit works perfectly. I am updating my review to 5 stars for the customer service, follow up and replacement of the faulty adapter. Thank you! Have had this item for 3 months and it already quit working. Return/refund window has already closed so now I am stuck with a defective item with no chance of a replacement.

So pleased!! this was a great purchase. My plant was suffering for the proper lighting, and now she is growing and getting so tall

It's saving the life of my tall fiddle leaf fig tree. My plant really took a hit outside this year... it's showing happiness and renewed color and vigor since putting this light on it. It was the tallest and largest diameter I could find. Bright enough and color range is good. So far, so good. Timer is reliable. So ready to extend and retract pole.

Received this product very quickly--in less than 24 hrs. Came in it's own packing box without an outer amazon box. Seems like that could be a recipe for breakage, but mine arrived ok. It is easy to assemble, and has a small folded instruction sheet. I don't know how it will work over the long haul, but for now I like it. My problem is that the controls are confusing. You can tell which lights are on by the colors showing thru, and the amount of light is a judgement call--you rely on your eyeball I guess. But the timer is most confusing. You press the clock button, the number of hours are listed under one of the three buttons, printed in numbers that are small and hard to read. I pressed 8 hrs and a blue light is blinking. I have no idea if it is set or not. I found the most instructions on the actual product listing on amazon, but still not sure if I got it right. In general I thing it seems fine. This is an update: The blinking blue light is on ALL the time--what a waste and annoyance. The only way to get it to be off is unplug it but then you can't use the auto-timer. This blinking light is not small--in the middle of the night if I wake up and see it in a darkened room it is significant--I just can't understand its purpose and resent the waste of electricity!

Great! It should be noted that since they are on a spike, if your plant is in a smaller pot, the light will lean. In a larger pot it's perfect! The timer is an awesome feature.

I have 6 of these lights now. I started out with just 2 and quickly noticed how much of a savior it was for my plants that were looking sad from low winter light. They are excellent for tall/larger plants due to how far they can extend! I do have a couple of plants that are still taller than what they can extend but they are easily zip-tied onto the support stakes of these plant which makes then expandable to any hight you might need. They do have a wide range of spectrum and brightness which makes them customizable to any plants needs. The one minor thing I would love to see improved is the controller. Nothing is actually wrong with it or the way it functions, however the lights remain turned off until you actually turn them on instead of just turning on as soon as power is connected to them. I would love to have these light operate off of a smart plug so I can further customize the exact on and off times to correspond with the time of year, but as soon as a smart plug would turn them off, they would not come back on with the next cycle unless I manually turn them back on. This is also another concern as I quite often am away from home and have someone house sitting for me. If the power goes out, or the breaker trips for some reason, that is a lot to put on a house sitter to make sure these are all set correctly again. - Again, not a bit deal which is why I still gave it 5 stars, just something I would love to see improved. Overall value for these lights in a 2 pack is unbeatable though!

For a full-spectrum white LED light this works pretty well (though not as well as the red/blue full spectrum lights) and the ring style has a more attractive finished look than the rectangular kind that are just sheet metal. The height is good and it stays at full extension despite it being a narrow "fishing pole" style as opposed to the kind that let you lock each extension in place with a wingnut. The ring itself does not like to stay put, however, and will happily fall over any time you touch after getting it set in place it so I'm taking 1 star off for that. It seems to give just enough light for a Janet Craig dracaena and a schefflera/umbrella plant (both are indirect light plants) at full brightness set for 12 hours so it may not be ideal for plants requiring full direct sunlight and, overall, I'm happy with this purchase despite the instability of the ring.

Works great! No issues. Quick arrival. I love the timer settings. Plants love it too.
