Is it similar to to sand filter, the leaf filter, or somewhere in between? (Would be nice to know mesh sizes.)** A: Dear JR_BigRapids,Thank you for your question! The Polaris 9550 comes with a General Purpose Canister which filters about 200 microns. This canister will pick up most debris in your pool.
