All lights come in blue and red, so do not need to be painted. Also, interior needs to be painted. Well worth the time and effort. Has all the proper decals and looks just like the police spinner from the original blade runner movie. Very cool. **Q: Could one eat it? (if so inclined)** A: If so inclined. **Q: Is this blade runner spinner pre-built and ready to display or does it have to be built by the user?** A: It is not pre-built. You will have to build it from a kit that has many parts, probably about 60 pieces.
