Tomahawk Original Series Rigid Trap with Easy Release Door for Cats and Rabbits

I get a lot of feral cats where I live, so I try to trap/neuter and release, handling them as little as possible, with the least amount of stress on the cat - and ME! I needed a vertical sliding door so I can transfer easily to carriers or from drop trap, AND I needed it to reliably set and trigger. This is super in both regards. Not the cheapest trap I've bought, but if it is reliable and easy to use, ans it is, it is well worth the price!

I do TNR in my community the trap is sturdy and strong only issue is the handle to carry trap keeps falling off and the trap keeps falling when iam carrying it causing it to be a danger to the cat that's trapped inside.. I purchased a total of 5 traps and this has happened to 2 of them and it continues to happen every time I carry the trap.

Got this trap to TNR a small cat, probably a kitten under 6 months. So needed a trigger with a light touch. I haven't used the trap yet since I'm trying to win over the kitty with food and trust. But I've hand-tested the trigger and I'm sure it will work. I also like the 2nd door for easy transfer.

I volunteer with a rescue organization and we recently bought a Tomahawk drop trap to help us catch feral cats in order to TNR them. It worked great - we were able to catch a couple of cats that we have been trying to catch for months but they were too trap smart. But transferring them to a "regular" Haveaheart trap was a little tricky. I purchased this one to make the transfer much easier and with less chance of the trapped cat escaping. This one, too, works great - we will be buying at least a couple more.
