I first learned the amazing story of civets and their tie to coffee while playing a game of “Poop Bingo” with the family on Christmas Day. My interest was piqued and the order for Kaya Kopi Coffee was placed. Our package arrived on time and my son in law and I had a great time tasting the coffee both as an “instant” and in the coffee machine. It had a stronger taste than the coffee we are used to, but the enhanced flavor was enjoyable and not “too much,” just different. I have been wanting to try Kopi Luwak coffee for years but was deterred due to price and lack of knowledge of the best product to purchase. We took a chance and tried two different price ranges of it for Christmas and were impressed. I've had several exclusive coffees before, but this is the best I have ever had. It really is a sensation of different flavors in your mouth. I will definitely purchase again.

This coffee is different from all other coffee's I've ever had. The coffee grounds themselves have a color like that of cocoa powder. A light brown color. It's light in taste with some subtle earthiness. For me it had a slightly acidic finish and after taste, but not in a bad way. This is something every coffee lover & connoisseur should try at least once Wonderful coffee.

I purchased this as a gift. Receiver loved it. It is an expensive coffee. I was only able to buy a small amount (1.76 ounces for $31). The receiver commented that the coffee is what they serve at the White House. Don't know. Didn't Google it. But.... no wonder our taxes are so high! haha
