Extra Large Christmas Holiday Melamine Serving Bowls, Set of 2

I absolutely love these pasta bowls. We use these for almost every meal. Vibrant color. Easily hand washed. I'm tempted to buy 6 more as they also work great as serving dishes and as bowls for fresh fruit.

4 month update: I've been washing these on the bottom rack of the dishwasher for 4 months with no sign of damage. I bought Corelle bowls and tempered glass plates to use when I need to microwave. Original review: I was looking for large, colorful, pasta bowls, made with safe, unbreakable materials. I've been searching for so long I almost didn't care what they cost. We had family here for a recent holiday and ran out of clean bowls. These looked good online but turned out to be perfect when I got them. They are surprisingly lightweight despite being larger than any of my other bowls. I have some 10 year old melamine salad plates out of what appears to be the same material. I always put them in the dishwasher with no problem. Family microwaved one at least once which caused slight cracking and chipping of color. I also ordered two handmade bowl cozies (see orange and yellow bowls in photo) that fit them perfectly for when we eat hot food in our lounge chairs.

These bowls are so pretty and perfect for outdoor entertaining. Love not having a concern for breakage, especially outside with bare feet. They really look very upscale and sturdy.

These have come to be my favorite dinner bowls! Color has stayed bright, despite the daily dishwashing! They are not thin, but have a good thickness that makes them substantial.

Perfect for what I needed it for

These pasta bowls get me constant compliments for a great meal time presentation. They are very shiny and don't like like melamine material, they look like shiny glass or porcelain bowls. The color perks up your appetite while eating spaghetti, ziti, tacos--almost any recipe looks tasty in them. They are too big for the top rack, and to keep the shiny, crackle looking finish I am hand washing and they still look so beautiful, hate to cook them with the high temps in the dishwasher. It only takes a minute to swish and dry! Would make a beautiful gift in a basket with some spices and pasta noodles, etc. The close up picture is just to see the faux crackle finish in the bowls. The first picture really shows you their shiny tomato red and they hold 42 ounces of food!

I love the color

Very nice bowl. Used to put Christmas ornaments and candy in it for my mother’s dementia care home room. Also bought other faux greenery here on Amazon to put around it. Worked great. Only downside was I did not need two bowls but they came as a set. So spent more money than I wanted to and have a bowl left over. I am sure it will get used in future for something. Maybe as a fruit bowl. I won’t use it for anything other than decorative use so can’t speak to dishwasher use or putting real food in it to be served, other than the fruit idea. Will most likely always use at Christmas. We shall see.

Very pleased with purchase bowls even nicer than in photos. Lovely colour, not too heavy. Serving capacity as expected, seem to be good quality.

Superb service, excellent product.

great for tapas / mezze style buffets

Used for the first time at family get together with a spaghetti Bolognese meal. Excellent and reassuring that they will not easily break.
